BBB has received a consumer complaint concerning sales practices. The business website was created on 9/26/2022.
"themoobin.com is a website that is frauding people out of money. They have set up a fake website, with a fake address, and the phone number they have used is my phone number. I have been getting around 100 calls per day. People are buying home goods such as leaf blowers, propane lanterns, and other items. I have been sending the callers a message Hi, if you ordered something off of themoonbin.com, I have a feeling it is a scam. I am a mom in another state and they're using my phone number. I have filed a complaint with the FTC to see if they can get the website taken down. I'm so sorry, I don't know what else to do. Some people have sent me a screenshot (attached) of what they bought. They ordered this item on Friday, Sept 23. The order date is wrong, it says it is Sept 24. I teach school and my phone is ringing all the time and it is such a distraction for my students. I have it silenced but I need to be on my phone texting with parents. I am so overwhelmed. I am hoping this is going to help"
