      While this small business owner indicated she will not engage further in the misunderstanding of her actions, she obviously has elected to further debate the same in the form of her response. As a result, I provide the following facts, details & clarifications to set the record straight. Unfortunately, all of us living here in SW FL experienced the recent hurricane and its disruptions & inconveniences, not just she or her business! When I Iast visited the Vanderbilt location, I simply inquired of one of the employees (who I respect & genuinely have enjoyed working with for years) if any consideration might have been given to the store hours subsequent to the hurricane since I was awaiting important mail postmarked Oct 4th which I ultimately could not retrieve from this location until Oct 16th. This business owner who admittedly did not hear my comments of admiration as a preface to my question to her employee ( an inquiry I would have most definitely directed to her if I even knew who she was when she happened to be in the store that day) proceeded to take what she did overhear out of context and began raising her voice and lashing out at me in an emotional outburst which she later admitted was uncalled for and clearly unprofessional, handling herself like a street fighter and far from a professional business owner of any kind. Our companies favored her with over $4900 in business since 2022 and far more over prior years. Because I did not retract my review at her request, she took the liberty of penalizing my companies, closing down our Postal Box and iPostal service @ Ship-N-Pak without consideration of any refund for advance services paid. From my perspective having never been so disrespected as a customer, she irreparably severed any on-going future business relationship the moment she elected to act out as such.

      Dear Mr. L*****,

      I have given considerable thought to our initial conversation, your review, and our recent phone call. I will not engage further in what I feel is a misunderstanding of our actions during a challenging time.

      Our decision to temporarily close was made with the safety and well-being of our employees and the community in mind. Unfortunately, the hurricane caused significant disruptions, including power loss. Each day, we evaluated the situation, and it was only after ensuring that we could provide a safe environment that we reopened, even without power.

      When you visited our location, we explained the situation regarding your mail and the Post Office’s delays. Your subsequent comments about our operations and my management were uncalled for, especially given the circumstances we were facing.

      I value my employees immensely and will always defend their dedication and hard work. They have gone above and beyond for all our customers, including you, and it’s disheartening to hear your perspective on this matter.

      Given the tone and content of your review, I must inform you that we will no longer be able to provide services to you. We believe that a respectful and collaborative relationship is essential, and I hope you can understand our position.

      I use this company all the time and find them to be of great help and in good spirits. They always let me know when I have mail or packages in my box and go out of their way to assist me in my business shipping.They offer fingerprinting for state trade licenses. I had my fingerprints done there also. One tip if you are going to get your fingerprints done there, If you are tall request a chair to sit in while doing the fingerprinting. If you stand up the fingerprint scanner does not work properly. The chair was my idea by the way. :)
