      What an absolute horrible company. The service is substandard, and the customer service is horrible. I cant wait to get out of this contract. I absolutely regret switching from Brinks.

      Would give zero stars if I could. The long and short of it:Im a cancer patient on a fixed income and even though I've called once a month, every month AT LEAST since the start of the year to get my payment date changed to the 1st of each month. Was told numerous times it would happen but never did (along with being charged twice in January) . So folks who are having issues, do what I did and have them take you off auto-pay. That way they cant charge you for their absolute ABYSMAL services. They won't take you to small claims court because it wouldn't be worth it monetarily for them and the ding on your credit report won't do much to your credit score so it's a win/win for you. Absolute worst company i have had the displeasure of doing any business with.

      ADT has made it extremely difficult to cancel. During the process, they required a new mailing address when I told them I had moved, even though I said I don't want to provide that to them. They said if I don't provide them with my new address, they won't cancel my service. Additionally, I had a life rate locked in for my service, and they continually increased my bills over several years. This company is disgusting, avoid at all costs.

      Worst company ever in history!!! I made the mistake of signing a contract with ADT to protect my family in a rental property. For most of the contract the service did not work. I asked to cancel my contract and they said I couldnt unless a technician came to look at it. It worked for a week and then stopped working again. Months went by and every time I called about the service an agent would tell me there were no notes. Finally the time came for my contract to be up and i finally get someone in the collections department that tells me they would credit me for 6 months if I paid the rest of the balance. I paid exactly what they asked and received a call next week begging me to keep the service. I absolutely refused!!! Two months later Im being contacted by debt collectors for the balance that was supposed to be credited and the ADT agents refused to help me. Every time I asked for a manager they said all the managers are in a meeting and then transferred me to the debt collectorion company.

      Im extremely disappointed with ADT and how they conduct business. The salesperson who came to our home assured us there was no contract and that we could cancel anytimea flat-out lie. We were also sold a higher-tier package that included floodlights, but when it came time to install them, they said they couldnt do it and that wed need to hire our own electrician, adding more unexpected costs.When I called to ask them to remove the floodlights and downgrade our package, they refused, saying its been over 3 days and changes were no longer allowed. This is absurd, especially given the equipment wasnt even installed *********** make matters worse, their customer service is a nightmare. Ive called them four times this month, and each call took between 45 minutes to an hour to even get close to a resolutiononly to be left with more ************** my honest opinion, this company is predatory. They use deceptive sales tactics, lock you into payments for things they cant even deliver, and then refuse to make it right. They should not be in business.

      I have had ADT for 3 years. THe price at one point jumped to over 3 times what I was told. I called and agreed with regret not knowing how to get out of the contract that I seemed to have with them. I have had problems with my cameras since day one. I have had them come out 2 times to readjust one specific camera and for the last 2 plus months it has not worked. This is the 3rd time for this specific camera and still it seems to fail. Each time I have paid the trip charge of $59 and the extra charge for each half hour that they are here of $135. The total each time has been over $200. I paid for my equipment. Each time I have asked about canceling my service they want the equipment back and to continue to charge me till the contract is completed. I have stressed over and over that I am not able to climb a ladder and reset a camera that is 18 feet off the ground. I am disabled and elderly. I have been on the phone and online chat with them for over 7 hours at different times to be transferred and to be placed on hold, to be told that I need to do technical things to my camera that is 18 feet off the ground. I explain the situation and am ignored. Each time before the only way they would come out is I paid at the time they are here and I have to update my contract to a longer period of time. They will not come out to fix my camera without me doing the payment and **** my contract. IT'S a total rip!! At this point if I win the lottery I will pay for them to come and take my equipment and place it in a none sunny place.

      ADT is all about the money and lack poor resolution skills. They flat out, stole from me and charged me without providing any service. I became an ADT customer that was with a company ********************** acquired for over a year. Then my alarm system went out. ADT admittedly was unable to service my broken alarm system. I informed them that day that the that system was not ADTs and there was no equipment that was ADTs in the home. A week later they billed 38.50$ for monitoring even though they could not monitor since the alarm system was broken. I was then promised a refund. My husband called two days later and again promised a refund. So a month later they bill again for 1.28$. I called and they say there was no refund but a credit for the next bill. Billing manager says there has to be 30 days to stop service and have equipment returned. He admitted there was no equipment to return and that ADT couldnt monitor anything for ************************************************* because I didnt officially cancel until a week after the initial phone call when they said they could not monitor or fix the system. The billing manager continues to admit if I had never called at all, they would still charge me knowing they could not monitor my home. I advised customers to stay away from **********************. There are newer and better security systems.

      ADT has a 30 day cancellation that they will not honor! Safe haven is who adt is working with. The ADT sales guy came to our house told us many lies. One being we could cancel anytime. He told me insurance would give me a discount to cover the payment. NOT TRUE. I can not afford it without insurance making the difference. Now Im stuck for 3 YEAR not sure how Ill pay. I am with in my 30 days of ADT they will not cancel me for no cost. ADT and safe haven just give me the run around without any resolution. There is to honor in holding to adt 30 days.

      Good evening, I am writing my experiences regarding the unprofessionalism and badgering ADT field agents. Specifically, ***** ******. The salesman breached the property uninvited while I was participating in a scheduled home inspection. I initially signed up but cancelled the very next day. The salesman has continued to call and send text messages at inappropriate times and when reminded not interested, has lapse in memory regarding converstion. The salesman has contacted me as early as 7:30 am and sent text messages at this time proclaiming he is on his way. Most recent incidence was May 21st, 2025 at 7:51 pm. An unidentified male breached property and rang front door ****. There is a "No Trespass -No Solitcitation" sign conspicously mounted. After a brief exchange via my security camera, the salesman was advised of the no trespass sign and not interested. The individuals rapport changed as he became disrespectful and asked, " Was this how I spoke to all individuals that knock on my door?". When advised to exit the property, the individual turned to leave but disturbingly hesitated on the walkway and once on the front lawn turned and stood. The individual was a white male with ball cap worn backwards and had what appeared to be clipboard. I literally had to advise the salesman three times to get off of the property. I am alarmed and frightened that I am being harrassed by various individuals that represent ADT. I am 100 percent disabled and should not have anyone breach my property univited and disregard the no trespass sign. I am contacting a third party to file formal complaint regarding the ongoing harrassment. Please reframe from solitciting and visiting my property immediately. It is ridicuolous the numerous times I have advised "not interested". This is unacceptable and I am under duress to enter/sign a contract for business I did not solitcit.

      ADT is a very deceptive company. They push you into all this equipment you don't need or want and won't take no for an answer. So when they get you as a customer you call in to try to cancel and they talk you into reducing your price for 6 months but they didn't tell you they extended your contract for 2 years. You cannot even cancel without paying a huge fee. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They are a huge RIP OFF!
