    This firm is a major disappointment. I had an appointment to do my taxes and after seeing confirmation in my email for the appointment, Garber & Garber said I did not make an appointment when they were clearly lying and refused to help me. I reacted accordingly, very upset and used that an excuse not to do my taxes. Very unprofessional and do not recommend using them to do your taxes. They don't even deserve the one star I gave them.

    After successfully running our CPA practice for over 30 years, and have enjoyed a stellar reputation,  I assure you that Mr. ********'s behavior in our office was totally and completely out of line and he exhibit behavior that would deter us from taking him on as a client. He was irate in our office over an appointment miscommunication. I have never witnessed behavior like this and we were embarrassed in front of our employee. 


    After 3 years of not conducting face to face meetings due to Covid, we are only first now commencing meeting new potential clients and there was a miscommunication between Mr. ******** and myself about the appointment. This was somewhat new for me as my office manager retired during Covid, and I now have to make my own appointments. After making the appointment, he informed me that his wife was "not actually his wife" and that she was unsure what she was doing for her taxes and would not be coming. I sent the following email to him: 


    "Hi *******:



     Would you prefer to find another day that ****** would be available? We are still very early"


    I never heard back from him and assumed there was no appointment. That said, I apologized to him for any error I might have made but I have to emphasize that his behavior, in our office, was totally excessive and I decided that we could not provide an unruly individual like that our firms services. I reached out to him yesterday during the day to explain what happened and my emails were all met with angry threats. There was no possibility of trying to appease him. 


    The fact that he is contacting you, after an appointment error, I feel is evidence that he would never be a satisfied client.
