    I picked up my daughters birthday cake on July,15,2024. When I ordered the cake I asked for white cake icing. Upon cutting it at the party as each one of us took a bite we were appalled by the taste. It tasted like eating several sticks of butter! It was inedible! We could not eat the cake.I called beings bakery the next morning and was told by the manager I had to bring a piece of cake to the bakery so it could be inspected. Never heard anything back from her that entire day. Called again the next day and I was told she had to ask the clerk who took my order about it , who was not working. The next day came after still not hearing anything from them! This is now Sat.July 20.When I had to call again and this time I spoke another person who told me she would give me 17.00$ back on a $50.00 cake we paid for.I refused to accept that and was told she then would have to talk to the baker. I heard nothing yesterday july22.It is now july23 and still continue to ignore me! This was a child's birthday ruined! We have been customers of beings bakery for over 10yrs. have gotten all birthday cakes,holiday cakes from them and this is the first time this has happened. I am fed up with being ignored and their could care less! I have been trying for over a week and they just give me the runaroud. At this time I just want a refund and nobody there even respects that! We had to buy another cake the next day from a different bakery so she could have a cake. Which caused us another exsepence. I am beyond furious at this point. Please help me ,after a week of trying to get resolve,they just ignore me! I have had it!

    Hi Susan, we apologize that you had an issue with your cake. We are also sorry you received the run around. Due to summer vacations things take a little longer. As we discussed, we made the order per the instructions on your cake form. Your cake form had red velvet cake and buttercream icing. Bing's makes a real German Buttercream. Our buttercream is made with real butter and the color of butter. This can get confusing when you order buttercream vs vanilla cake icing. We attempted to give you a partial refund and you decided not to accept it. I am sorry we could not resolve this issue with you.
