    Cottman Transmission of Waldorf, an auto repair facility registered with Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation as a forfeited business effective of October 12, 2010. This Complaint is due to Cottman auto repair service performed on October 17, 2024. Cottman ownership, its assigned service advisor identified as “Ken B.” and technician, as “KR” (collectively, “Cottman”) Cottman stated a diagnostic and road test was performed on my vehicle and required specific repairs. Afterward, they refused to provide proper/appropriate estimates, scope of work, invoices for purchased parts and other costs associated with standard of care. 10/03/2024: Cottman mechanic looked over the vehicle and determined the runoff of the coolant was likely a result of coolant overflow, and no other issues were found. 10/04/2024: the vehicle again overheated after driving and after setting to cool never re-started. 10/09/2024: requested copies of the diagnostic report, any mechanical notes, purchasing invoices, etc. To-date, I have not received any requested information. 10/10/2024: Cottman, finally informed the vehicle required a “timing kit”, Cottman work at best is described as negligence. • 10/24/2024: sent Cottman's Christopher J. Moore a “Demand Letter”, as required refused to accept either at business location. 10/25/2024: filed a subsequent complaint with the Maryland Attorney General Office under Case No. MU-515501, having no confidence Cottman will accept any liability without this office involvement.
