    I hired Silberman Heating and cooling to buy and install a new IBC Boiler as my old one had failed. I could have had the old one fixed for a $600 part but Don convinced men to buy new as it'll come with a new warranty, so I did, at a cost of around $3800 material and labor. He bought the new boiler, then came and installed the new one and just 3 months later, that boiler failed (no hot water)..I called him and he came to fix it. He did get it started but the fix lasted less than 24hrs and it failed again. At this point he determined that the controller was shot (under warranty still). but said he was to busy to come install a new controller ($600 part) Finally after several tries of calling him he finally answered and said he'll order the part. When the part came in he called me and said he wants $633 before he installs the part. .I explained to him its under warranty and shouldn't cost me anything. He got very upset and said he's returning the part and hung up the phone. I called the makers of the boiler, IBC Technologies, and they insured me that the part is under warranty and shouldn't cost me anything, or Don anything to install the new part. Dons attitude was poor to say the least. after this experience with him I would NOT recommend him to anyone as he doesn't back his work with the warranty, he wanted me to pay for the part so he doesn't have to wait to get reimbursed from the boiler company or go through the warranty process. I highly suggest that if anyone is looking for an honest, reliable furnace guy to hire someone else and NOT Don Silberman's Heating and Cooling LLC

    Called Don Silberman for an AC issue. Always either answers the phone or calls right back. Showed up on time and resolved our issue. Also made recommendations for cleaning and maintenance Great to deal with someone who is honest, easy to get along with and has very good prices! He works for himself which was important to me. I will continue to use and recommend Don Silberman.
