    I purchased a Chinese Silk Shanghai Crystal Table Lamp from the Oriental Furniture Warehouse in ******** ** in May of 2022 (shipped May 21, 2022) in the amount of $95.18 (including shipping and taxes). When the lamp stopped working on March 15, 2023. I contacted the store and was told by the representative (Melissa) that she was forwarding my complaint to their Claims Department for action and I would hear from them in 3-5 days. I received a call on March 22, 2023 and this representative said that I should look for a lamp repair shop in my area to get the lamp repaired – that perhaps it was just a loose wire or something like that. He suggested a local repair shop where I could get the lamp repaired. When I inquired whether I would be reimbursed for the repair since the lamp was less than a year old, I was told that even though Oriental Furniture Warehouse stand behind their products, his manager said that they do not reimburse their customers for defective products.
    I have purchased other items from this store and have not encountered a problem like this in the past. Needless to say, this outcome is unacceptable and I certainly cannot recommend this establishment.

    We are sorry. Please ship the item back for a refund.The wire is light gage for easy removal or installation of a replacement crystal pedent. We are happy to refund the cost of this lamp ( $67.15) but would like it returned. We have offered directions on how to attach the pendent, offered refund with return. Please return the item to Oriental Furnishings**** **** **** ******* ** *****. Please include a invoice copy and ******** written on the carton.
