On 4/15/24 this company cut down two trees for me; one in the front yard and the other at the back of my property line in the back yard. They caused significant damage to my yard. They did not put mats down when they drove their trucks on my lawn. They left two sets of tracks that led from the street at the edge of the front yard all they way to the tree in the back, about 200 or so feet of 2-3 inch tracks. They did not take responsibility for the damage, nor did they think it was a big deal because, as they said, "You knew we had to bring a truck in your yard, how did you think we were going to get the wood out?" It was the nephew of the owner of the company that was in charge of this disaster. He argued, he lied and said he called me at work and left multiple texts to tell me what happened but I have no calls or texts on my phone. After a lot of heated discussions, they agreed to come back and fix the tire tracks. I paid them 1/3 of the bill and signed an agreement that I would pay the balance upon repair of all tire tracks and when the grass grew in those area. They came back with a spade and some soil to fix the whole area. Needless to say, most of the damage was not repaired. I said I would get a quote from another landscaper to fix the rest of my lawn and then we would discuss the balance that I owed them. The nephew did not wait. He was not allowed on my property due to the arguing and lying on the day of the job. On 6/14/24 he came to my house very angry and banged repeatedly on my door and rang the doorbell multiple times. I went to the town police and reported his aggressive behavior on my property and showed them our agreement that I would pay the balance when the tire tracks were repaired and the grass had filled in. I called the owner to talk to him about his nephew coming over. The uncle yelled and talked over me saying he had bills to pay and he needed the money. We agreed to take $200 off the balance and I paid it. Peace of mind is invaluable.
