      Sweitzer Waste Removal Inc. is simply defrauding it's customers, particularly in the residential sector. I recently engaged Sweitzer Waste Removal this past Spring for a seasonal residential trash and recycling pick-up program. In 8-12 weeks, they've failed to deliver service 5x. On Father's day, I had a cookout for my family and we had filled both cans (Trash and Recycling). We left Sunday and came back the following Saturday to observe our trash rotting in the can by the road and our recycling cannister full. I left a strongly worded voice-mail that was largely ignored. After several attempts to reach them during their business hours, I was told someone would call me back. It required several follow-up calls to reach someone. I have asked to cancel services and they have dodged my calls and delayed their response back. I was forced to buy a sticker to the Clinton, CT transfer station and transport both my trash and recycling to the station, I can still smell the residual odor in my car. I'm still owed money at this time for the failed pick-ups and the balance of the season. They are aware that my wish would be to cancel service and this has yet to be resolved. In summary, Consumers should be aware of: - Inconsistent delivery of service which could and has required hours of my time to resolve. The need to purchase and transport trash to local transfer station to avoid trash build-up. - Non-responsive customer service. - Inconsistent hours for customer service. The hours are published as opening at 9:00am, I've called several times during their published business hours only to be received by an answering machine that indicates they are currently closed. - Slow resolution to cancel services and still unresolved to this date. Do your homework and research all local companies for your Trash and Recycling needs for residential Consumers.
