  For seven years, no bear in bear-rich ******* ***** ******** has gained access to my Bearicuda trash can. Plus their customer support is prompt and excellent. Recently, Kevin at customer support helped me figure out quickly that I needed a replacement knob and how to install it. It’s a great product!

  We live at the bottom of a mountain,, Which is home to dozens of black bears. Each year, some choose to visit us for a meal. We've struggled to keep them out of our garbage. This year, our new Bearicuda has stymied them. We are very pleased!

  We live in Florida in St Pete Beach. We love our trash bin. We painted it green to match our house. It works very well in Florida because it keeps bugs out, (which are prevalent here), keeps the humidity from getting in and looks beautiful in our driveway. Unfortunately, we lost it in the surge from hurricane Helene. However, we found it today, where it floated up behind another person‘s house and was still fully intact except for the hydraulic mechanism coming off and a couple of nails from the cover loosening up. These are the most amazingly sturdy bin storage containers I’ve ever seen. Despite it being somewhat salvageable, We have been so happy that we are buying another one!

  Kevin is fantastic to work with and is a very conscientious business owner. He is very receptive and responsive. Our latch was not working right. The housekeeper couldn't open it for several weeks. A bear came to investigate the rotting trash. It finally chewed off the finger handle. Kevin continued to work with us until we were able to make it work coaching our housekeeper until they were able to remove the latching mechanism and inspect it. We found out that the latch had pebbles inside due to the bear tipping the can over. He helped us get a new latch and finger handle. We recommend this can and company.

  Hi *****, Thank you for the kind words. We truly appreciate when customers take the time to write a positive review as it is so easy to write something negative. We have thousands of cans out in the marketplace over the last 15 years (cans, enclosures and dumpsters) something is bound to happen when you have a 400 lb bear attacking your trash. But we are always here to help and do our best to fix an issue. Glad we were able to help after owning the can for the past 4 1/2 years.

  Fantastic product!! I live in bear country in ******** up in the mountains. I had a bear tear my wooden garbage shed a part like tissue paper. So last year I ordered a bear proof garbage shed from bearicuda. This morning I woke up I can tell a bear worked on my bearicuda shed trying his hardest to get it open. He didn’t even leave a scratch! I can now throw away any garbage, worry free, can’t recommend this product enough!!!!

  This is THE bear can- above all others! We live in the mountains of ** and were just enjoying the perks of this non-smelly trash can with the ability to take our trash out the night before pick up vs the crack of dawn on trash day. One trash day our can went missing sometime between 3 am and 7 am. Our cameras did not catch any action in the pitch black. We thought we were the victim of thieves and even filed a police report for our area. We were so bummed for the loss but then a neighbor reached out in response to my Nextdoor post and said she thought she saw my can- almost 75 yards from my home- down a hill, across the street, and in a ditch. That was one strong and determined bear!! It took 2 of us to pull it up the ditch but it was hardly damaged and still intact/unopened and full of trash. This can is BEAR-PROOF!! Do not hesitate to buy. You get what you pay for, for sure!! Way to go, Bearicuda!!

  Kevin was a pleasure to work with! He was incredibly responsive and super helpful. The product was delivered quicker than expected and is an extremely well-built, quality bin. It was tested by within hours of use, with success! I am very happy with this product and I would highly recommend them!

  We had gotten 4 yellow "Critter Cans" years ago for $50/can as a town-wide promotion. They have done a great job in protecting our trash from bears. One bear got so frustrated, it took the entire can and contents into the Salvation Army camp’s woods (across the street) to work on it. We had thought someone stole it until 4 months later the Star Lake Camp found it and returned it to us. It was clawed and chewed but the trash was still inside! They work! Highly recommend!

  I have never been more satisfied with the quality of the bearicuda bin and needless to say, I have not had any problems since. It has served and is currently serving its purpose well!!!
