      I have horse insurance through Hartford. Over the past two years, they have been nothing but difficult, rude, and overall unpleasant to deal with. Do not use Hartford unless you want to continuously have to defend yourself for utilizing the service that YOU PAID FOR.

      Was in an accident that was not our fault and Hartford told us to let them handle it. They offered us $20,000 less than the cost to replace the vehicle. They claim they found vehicles for sale to establish the payout price. However, to get the same make, year, mileage, and maintenance record this is not true. We are getting totally screwed by the Hartford Insurance company and would avoid at all costs purchasing insurance through this company.

      After changing the Hartford, I did a test drive on there app for safe driving. As we all know all the new cars drive themselves so you set the lane control and the speed normally 5 miles over. I did a test drive had one driving too fast once again computer controlled one stopping too fast. Some of that is computer assisted. And acceleration in a turbo charge for cylinder there’s no choice but when you press the gas, it’s going to leave the line. So my complaint is that and now reviewing this app there are a lot of plates for the same thing. Using other apps, they give you a better grace And our accurate. This one is not. Highly recommend I’m going to change back to my old insurance company highly recommend staying away from Hartford.

      Do not give your money to this company. I had a very short-term claim and pay for short-term disability plus a buy up and put in a claim in February and they have tried to pass responsibility off on everybody that they can dig out of a hole. They do not answer your phone calls they tried to reroute you to the website I have never received a letter in the mail or anything in the mail from these people aside of a couple of very small checks with them having an offset from two different states, both of which denied any eligibility for pfml. Then they promptly closed the claims regardless of having proof of denials from both states. I am still fighting these people and we are now looking at May. This insurance company will not help you when you need their help they will take your money for benefits and then do everything they can to make sure you don't get paid. Run from them

      The worst Auto Insurance Company! They sent me a letter saying they were dropping me due to more than one no fault accident in the last 36 months. Ludicrous to believe, the insurance company you pay for does not have my best interest even when someone else hits me! what a joke of a company, never again! It was a blessing in disguise for me, I am now on my dads **** ******* ******** plan, we are saving a substantial amount of money! Thank you Hartford for dropping me!

      Changed my auto insurance to The Hartford **** last month, then realized they had included 3 nonexistent accidents on previously owned vehicles (I never had accidents in those vehicles).
      These “accidents” dramatically increased the cost of my coverage to over $350 a month. I own up on not carefully reviewing every nuance of my policy upon initial issue, as I had never really needed to.
      I immediately started looking for another reputable provider and found it in Liberty Mutual at less than 50% of The Hartford **** with better coverage.
      My bad for believing **** would have my best interest in mind in the quality of insurance recommended/supported for their members.
      Shady business practices for sure!

      Greedy salespeople. I was given an absurd quote of more than $6000 per year to cover a **** ***** *** * **** ******* That is right- more than six thousand dollars per year. They are ripping off seniors.

      I had a minor scrape of a rental car, which Ace Rental inflated to $2100.
      Hartford paid the claim.
      I expected my insurance to go up a bit, but the increase is so substantial that Hartford is recouping what they paid in 13 months.
      This defies the whole concept of insurance! You pay $20,000.00, or so, over many years, so that if you have an accident, you don't have to pay the damages yourself. In this case, Hartford is charging me, in 1 year, such that I repay them for what they paid. Unethical!

      The Hartford group does not have an option for a claim to be conducted face-to-face. I am neurodivergent and have immense trouble talking on the phone to strangers, especially about something as personal as accommodations. After HR discussed that my only two options were to file a claim online or by a voice call, I received the okay to have my partner call on my behalf. She had to talk to four different representatives, all who had conflicting information, and was even hung up on. What's more, is even though my accommodations clearly state that I was not to do voice calls, they forced me to consent over the phone, even though they were already notified of my situation and that my partner would be submitting the claim on my behalf. This company is completely and utterly ableist and needs to do better. Come on, y'all, its 2025.
