- Additional Info:In October of 2018, BBB opened an investigation into CareCentrix, Inc.’s business practices, resulting from an inquiry by an investigative reporter. Multiple consumer reports and interviews indicated the business repeatedly sent multiple invoices for the same medical equipment each month. Consumers had been informed they were covered by insurance or would not be billed for the product. When consumers reached out to the business regarding the billing discrepancies, they were informed it would be corrected. However, they would often receive another bill a month later or would be notified the bill had been sent to a collection agency. Because consumers are not given the opportunity to choose the third party billing company used by the sellers of their equipment or supplies, BBB strongly encourages consumers to be conscious of the bills they receive, and to review them regularly for accuracy.
