- Advertising Review:In February 2022, BBB contacted Integrity Auto Sales and Service regarding its advertising.
The claims "No Credit Bad Credit??? No Problem!!! You are approved" appeared on its website. The business removed the "You are approved" statement but continues to advertise "No Credit Bad Credit??? No Problem!!!" According to the BBB Code of Advertising, such terms must be used only when consumer credit is also extended to consumers whose ability to pay or credit rating is below typical standards of credit worthiness. The finance charges and APR should not appreciably exceed those charged to consumers who meet generally accepted standards of credit worthiness and consumers should be dealt with fairly on all conditions of the transaction, including the amount of the down payment, the period of repayment and the consequences of a delayed or missed payment. BBB requested that the business provide proof of compliance with these guidelines but did not receive a reply.
Its website also states "The cars, SUVs, minivans, trucks and pickups we carry are inspected and often may be eligible for the many extended service contracts & warranties we offer." Under the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the term “warranty” the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details can be seen prior to sale. These details must disclose any material limitations on the warranty. The business did not respond to BBB's request that that this information be added to its website.
