    I hired A&R Total Exteriors after some hail damage in 2022. They replaced my windows and siding. The windows were great but the siding warped within 3 months. I informed them of the issue and they reworked the problem areas but they put the same defective material on the house, only to have it warp a second time. I was told their supplier sent the same lot of defective siding to replace it. I filed a claim with their supplier, which I don't feel was my responsibility in the first place and was told it was due to an excessive external heat source of which none exists, except the sun itself. This job was paid for partially by my home insurance but they only covered the west side of my house so I paid for the rest of the house to be sided also, which was out of pocket. Now, coming up on 2 years later, the issue has not been resolved and my house looks dilapidated and trashy. I originally had planned on having the work done and so I could sell the house and move closer to my family and enjoy retirement. Instead I've endured 3 stressful years of trying to resolve the problem along with shattered plans for my retirement and being ignored by the owners of A&R while trying to get any sort of repair or compensation for the issue. I've asked them to repair the problem to no avail. I've asked them to consider a partial refund so I can have the work redone by them or someone else. I've called and texted and am now being ignored completely. I feel I have extended a rediculous amount of patience to the situation in vain. At this point, if this issue cannot be resolved in a professional and timely manner, I will seek legal representation and follow through with litigation. I have no issues with A&R's work quality but they don't back it up when it comes to defects or issues that arise after the work has been completed. I am not a litigious individual but feel I have exhausted every avenue to resolve this issue so I am turning to the BBB to publish a formal complaint.
