    I took my college ring in to get it resized. When I received it after payment, I found it had been ****ed very noticeably on the inside behind the face where my initials are engraved. The jeweler admitted it might have happened by accident while cutting the band and offered to call in the individual who did the work to explain. That individual then claimed it was really the pin used to attach the enameled artwork in front and that many times the pin is visible on the inside. He also suggested I just never noticed it before, which I take as an insult because I have owned this ring and used it for over 35 years and it was NOT there before I brought the ring in. The location of the **** is also nowhere near the artwork in front. He did offer to fill in with more gold and buff it, but said that would most likely remove the engraved initials, so I declined. I give them one star for offering to fix the damage but not a good experience over all. I would not recommend them to anyone else.
