    This isnt really a review but carelessness on Summit. Im now at risk of my identity being stolen from their data breach and all they did was offer us some offbrand monitoring service. I feel they shouldve given us a better quality identity, theft monitoring, service like Equifax or Experian, I cant use the *** monitoring service because I dont want keep putting my Social Security number out there especially to somebody they recommend considering they couldnt even protect us. The bridge was Summits fault they should spring for a quality identity, theft, monitoring, service or even give us Norton or somebody of quality not some joke like they gave us and then it doesnt even monitor everything only cyber. Thanks for nothing delete our information.

    I have had multiple biopsies this year and Summit Pathology processed my specimens. They were quick in getting results. I have not had any issue at al with their billing department. Was seamless!

    BEWARE - BEWARE - BEWARE. I would highly recommend if any of the doctors you use require any laboratory services with Summit Pathology, ************************************************************, request another laboratory or doctor. I was charged for $130 for no other reason than the laboratory taking my sample submitted by my dermatologist and then another $120 for processing the sample submitted. In addition I was charged 2 charges for Stains. As soon as I started to question the charges on my bill they sent my balance to a collection company. This company is scandalous and if I were able to give a zero star I would. The public should be aware of companies who are there for nothing more than to s**** you over and take you money. Look at the reviews from the Better Business Bureau

    Summit Pathology has reached out to this individual to explain our billing process. The charges pertain to services provided by our laboratory and pathologists for diagnosis of the specimen sent to us for processing by his referring physician.

    Beware "surprise billing" this can happen when you can't control who is involved in your care like when you have an emergency like I did. I unfortunately paid a surprise bill to Summit Pathology that I was not required to pay (my fault for not knowing). I have been trying to get reimbursed from Summit Pathology since October, 2022 with no luck. The billing group keeps telling me another 30-45 days nothing happens and it's coming up on five months. The owners of Summit Pathology and billing group know or should know these laws but they elect to abuse the system and patients. This is fraud! I have now filed claims with Memorial Hospital, the Colorado Division of Insurance, United health care and the Attorney General's office of Colorado all are now involved in my effort for reimbursement. Make sure you know your insurance before you pay any unexpected bill or get entangled with the Summit Pathology billing group. Believe the other BBB reviews about Summit Pathology billing group, they are terrible! The 17 Doctors/Owners listed on there WEB page probably don't know or don't care this is happening. Beware!

    The worst billing in the world. 2 years after and they still haven't located my HSA payment. I sent a fax with the proof of payment and they can't locate that either. There is no customer service or way to submit a complaint

    Stay FAR FAR FAR away from this company! And if you ABSOLUTELY HAVE to use them, make sure you send them multiple copies of any insurance cards that you have If there were negative 1,000 stars, that would be too good for this place! I had surgery a year ago. I gave my two insurance card to the Hospural. I had NO problems with the hospital, anesthesia or the doctor. But Summit pathology apparently wrote down the wrong numbers or something. So when they would submit the bill, it did not go through. And now, they say it’s been too long and they will not submit again, and they have sent me to collections, and I have to go to court! They say they will call you back, but they never do I will also be letting the hospital know what HORRIBLE practices and customer service they have! These places just expect people to give up and just pay. I have TWO insurance policies. I don’t owe a cent!

    Their billing department is the absolute worst and clueless. They first billed the wrong insurance company, and before I realized that, I paid my bill. Once they billed the correct insurance, I was (still am) owed a refund. Every time I call to find out about my refund, I get the same answer - ‘let me check my email to see if there are any updates. No, I’ll have to check and have someone call you back.’ And, nobody ever calls back. I’ve even asked to speak to supervisors and they are no better! This has been going on for 6 months now and I’d just like the money owed to me!
