This is the biggest scam company Ive ever seen! They towed my car from my apartment complex on a Friday night around 7PM. I thought my car was stolen but the police confirmed it had been towed. I called on Saturday morning only to get a message saying this business didnt have voicemail set up. I couldnt get hold of anyone all day so I figured they were closed. Monday morning, I called and they are open. But now they are charging me almost $500 to get my car out because they say they are open on the weekendsthey just dont answer their phones. This should be illegal!!! Someone needs to report/shut them down. They are crooks!

***** is the owner of the business and is the ONLY person to contact to obtain parking spots where I live, and the ONLY person to call if you need someone towed from your assigned (paid for) parking spot. Called at 4:55 pm on move in day ti ask him what our assigned spots were. He said it was after 5, hes going to dinner with his wife, and if I wanted to have someone answer or help any time after 5 pm then I should have moved in August when everyone else moved in. Hung up on me multiple times and I couldnt park or live at my new apartment bc he left work early that day to have dinner w his wife. Continuous issues with getting him to answer or respond at all to any of our questions. Almost every night weve been here weve had to find somewhere else to park bc he couldnt be bothered to do his job. Flash forward to last night. I cleaned my old house until almost 3 AM, came home to find someone in my assigned spot. Called ***** (the only way to resolve the issue, as the leasing office will not and cannot access his parking info), he made fun of me for not knowing the model of the car in my spot. Eventually he let me just give him the plate number bc hes tired of me being dumb about cars, and says h*** tow it but I need to park a half mile away for the night in guest parking this is a huge hassle and NOT the first time but I did it. Woke up with the cat still in my spot. Called ***** and he said they decided not to tow it because it belongs to another tenant and they were just confused. I said thats unacceptable and why didnt he even call me back to tell me they arent going to tow someone out if my spot? He hung up on me 3 times. I called the business back to back until the leasing office opened. They couldnt do anything. Showed up to galaxys office to find a solution and now I have trespassing charges, cant call them ever again, and still have someone parked in my spot. Asked the cops if they could help w the towing they said nope its a civil matter.

Had my daughter's car erroneously towed. When I called and inquired about it, this "owner" would not share his name or address with me. They picked up the wrong vehicle and the management company nor this towing company will take responsibility. We have paid for parking at the complex for two months.

Thought my car had been stolen found out it was towed. They charged me $275 when the maximum is $160. I received no copy of charges or a receipt. What a scam! No notice given i literally watched them drive away, Impound lot was less then a mile.

Lived at Springs at **** for 4 years. Had a sticker parking pass on my car. Bought a brand new car with dealership plates and they towed my car for not having the parking pass sticker. I was told, I shouldn’t have parked in a resident spot even though I had been a resident for 4 years. They didn’t have the brain cells to muster up that maybe I didn’t have the sticker yet because it was a brand new car?!? terrible and embarrassing business

This is galaxy, towing and recovery for you ***************************************** they towed a **** in the middle of the night that I just got. Didn’t even put it on dollies and drag it across the parking lot all the way to the entrance of my apartment complex in park and when I went and confronted him about it, he said it was in neutral. But you can clearly see in the video that it was not. And because of the fact that he was upset when I walked away from my daily driver that I was sitting in that had a parking permit as soon as I walked away, he started taking pictures of that, and my license plates don’t know why, . This is not the first time I have seen them do this. I wonder how many transmissions they’re ******* up.

I thought my car had been stolen, turns out it was wrongfully towed by this company. My car was registered properly with the parking company my apt uses…& I had allll the emails/receipts!! They told me I needed to send them everything…I did, & got no response. Went into my apt leasing office when they opened, & apparently there was a glitch in the system that bumped me out…not my problem, as I did everything I was supposed to do. The biggest issue that is going to be a big problem for GAR is that as of June of 2022 (in CO) a new bill was signed into (civil) law stating that towing companies “are required to give vehicle owners 24 hours written notice before removing a vehicle from the parking spot of a condominium, cooperative, apartment, or mobile home park.” Had this law been honored, none of this would have happened. I missed out on work, & had to inconvenience people to get me there to p/u my vehicle, bc once they realized there was an error, they refused to bring back my car. I’ ve spoken to the police dept, & they say that they’ve had many/similar complaints about this company. I even know someone who’s gf’s car was towed, & after 3 days they kept the car, wouldn’t give it back, auctioned it & kept the money…shady, shady, shady! I say anyone else who’s experienced similar issues with this company, consider small claims court…as I am
