    I rented a storage unit this morning and brought some camping stuff and a treadmill (walking pad) in a box to drop off this afternoon.It wasnt until AFTER I had put stuff in that I noticed broken glass everywhere. Most of the broken glass was on the side where I had put camping stuff (yoga mats, air mattress, backpacks, blankets, etc.)The employee apologized saying that her manager should have cleaned the unit. I was nice to her but I was definitely not happy. I had to take my stuff out and wait another ***** minutes for her to clean it when I was already late to an appointment.There was no offer of a discount or anything (I had already paid). I feel like I should be compensated in some way because my stuff now has tiny glass shards all over embedded in the fabric.She said the manager will be in the office tomorrow and will clean the unit again. It was the managers job to make sure the last tenant cleaned the storage unit and he obviously didnt check it at all.Also I got glass shards stuck to the bottom of my shoes that got dragged into my car and house (it was really bad). This is completely unacceptable and a really bad experience for my first time renting a storage unit.Update: Still no call from the manager or owner of this business. There has been no accountability or apology for what happened. Take your business elsewhere, I wish I had. My review will stay up.Update: They contacted me to let me know that my storage unit is finally clean (which it already should have been before I rented it?) and to let me know my credit card on file had expired. All these people care about is getting your money. Still no accountability or apology. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE
