**** Installed a high efficiency furnace 11/22 in a house I purchased 4/23, but did not finish AC install due to weather so I had to follow up after transaction. I had to call multiple numbers multiple times, multiple days in a row before he bothered to respond. He eventually came out to finish AC install, but left me with a couple of significant issues that he has flatly refused to address thereafter. Communication and accountability has been a constant problem from the beginning.During the initial furnace install, they had punched a rough hole into a vertical plumbing drain pipe in the crawl space for the flexible plastic condensate line, which was not in any way sealed, and resulted in waste water collecting in my crawl space. When I asked him to fix the issue/damage, he simply glued the flexible plastic hose into the hole in the drain pipe with PVC glue. No appropriate plumbing fittings or adapters were used, just glue around a jagged hole (ie. not a lasting repair, certainly not code). **** was unconcerned about the damage and unresponsive when I attempted to have a conversation with him about a more permanent repair.Second main issue I had was trying to get **** to install a condensate neutralizer onto the high efficiency furnace he installed (I have cast iron plumbing which will consequently be damaged by the furnaces acidic waste). **** had a lot of excuses why it would be hard to install one (even though they make products that specifically resolve the cited challenges), told me he would go to the plumbing supply house but never followed up, and then completely flaked out with the excuse he doesnt have time to deal with it because hes short staffed. My takeaway is that **** is primarily interested in selling and hastily installing *new* equipment, but not at all interested in supporting his installs thereafter, and seemingly does not care about damaging customer homes. There are other more reputable and responsive HVAC services in the ****** area.
