      ??NEGLIGENT - DO NOT GO TO Brakes Plus??I had my brakes serviced at Brakes Plus, only to have them completely fail just three days later, putting mine and others safety at serious risk.While they did redo the job after I brought the issue to their attention, they offered no compensation or meaningful acknowledgment for the inconvenience or danger caused by their initial negligence. The customer service throughout was dismissive and unhelpful.Correcting a mistake after it nearly causes an accident is the bare minimumowning the responsibility and making it right is what a reputable business should do. Brakes Plus failed on both counts!

      Brakes Plus - *********************************************************. A reminder to ask first for estimate only and get a second opinion from another independent shop. Next -and second point if work is completed and performed by ** at this location - take your vehicle to another independent shop to have the work that ** said they did fully inspected. Correct parts, no damage, work done according to proper standards. In this example this ** location installed the incorrect parts for a key component- steering and suspension- cv axle as the car in question was a manual transmission and they installed the part for a automatic- which in turn caused the cv axle seal to leak. The key finding is to trust and verify to ensure that the correct and proper work is completed and performed to best practice automotive standards.

      I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but I feel I need to share my experience. A few weeks ago, I came in because I was hearing squeaking sounds that I thought were coming from my rear brakes. I was told a full brake inspection would be conducted, and they found that the rear brakes needed replacement. I asked if the rotors were in good condition or could be resurfaced, and they assured me that, given the mileage, they could be resurfaced. Fast forward a few weeks, and the squeaking returned. It turns out they hadn't done a full inspection after all, and there was rust inside the ******************* quoted $250 for new rotors and I agreed to replace them. Then, ******* came back and said the rotors they quoted me wouldn't fit my vehicle. Shortly after, he told me the correct rotors would cost $350, and there was nothing they could do. After already spending $400 on the rear brake job, to be told there was nothing they could do when they were the ones who gave me the initial quote was incredibly frustrating This place is an absolute joke, and I would not recommend it to anyone!
