  My husband and I met ***** (owner) of Deck Works in **************** approximately 18 years ago when we had his company build a small deck on the front of our home with a handicap ramp as my husband was disabled and a cover over our back patio. We told him we wanted it to be maintenance free. He suggested building it with composite lumber that was popular at the time. It looked very nice when he and his crew finished it and we received many compliments on it through the years. A few months ago, a couple of the composite boards on the ramp started to decay and became a hazardous situation. I called ***** and had him come out again to see if there was a way to repair it. However, the material that he used 18 years ago was no longer available. I had him give me an estimate for a new maintenance free deck almost identical to the first one with only a few minor changes. His price is not cheap, but he uses good material and honors his commitments. He has always been very professional to work with, but down to earth and common to deal with which I respect very much. On both occasions, the men working for him have been very nice, courteous, conscientious, and good workers. On this last deck, one of his men, ****, did most all of the work by himself. He was a very kind, good, conscientious, and a hard worker. I would highly recommend him. I felt very comfortable with ***** since we had Deck Works complete our first deck and we enjoyed it so I didn't even bother to get additional bids from other contractors which is very unusual for me. Thank you ***** for being trustworthy and hiring such reputable people to help represent your company. It is greatly appreciated. ****** *.****************

  Amazing!! I have mobility issues and they went above and beyond to make my deck more accessible for me. The quality of work was Top Notch!! If I ever need another deck in the future, I won't even get bids from other contractors.

  ***** went above and beyond. But, I think that's his norm. Exceptional work. Very responsive, honest and on time which is extremely hard to come by these days.Deck Works is by far better quality than builder grade. Worth the cost for quality craftsmanship that will outlast compared to builder grade that will require way more maintenance over time. Well worth paying a little extra money for a low maintenance deck.His crew was very respectful and responsive. We can't say enough about him and his crew. He pointed out things that I would have never thought of. He really knows his stuff!
