      I have been a customer of Instant Ink program through the ** Printer in my home that I use for my own personal use. I was in the middle of printing out a project December 23rd. and I ran out of ink. The Instant ink program is supposed to monitor my ink usage and provide me with ink based on the usage. I had no replacement cartridges, so I went to ******* and purchased ink cartridges and replaced them into my printer. The printer would not print, instead I got a message on the printer that I had to use only Instant Ink cartridges and the printer would not print anything. I tried putting the Instant Ink old cartridges back in since they still had a small amount of ink in them, however the printer still would not print. On December 26th I cancelled the Instant Ink Program through **.I contacted ** about this issue and told them this was not legal to do this on my personal printer. Just because I cancelled the Program, it was not their right to not allow me to print my documents.After I told the customer service person this, she told me she would transfer me to the tech side and put me on hold. After 10 minutes holding, I put in the cartridges I purchased from ******* and was able to print.I do not feel this process was legal to do on their part, as I cancelled the program and should have been able to use whatever product I chose. I have purchased another printer that is NOT **.Dissatisfied customer
