Unfortunately the agreement that you do with them at THE **** DEPOT store was not followed. I went with a witness to make sure all was going to be in accordance. The colors for the unit were selected to be cream and coconut on the trim. They appeared with the whole thing in same color. There are pictures on the blue print of the desired colors. Now they call me and say that they can do so for an extra $150 dollars. They claim that is not what the contract says. ***** from Tuff Shed --What we agree at The **** DEPOT store is supposed to be transferred to you seamless with no changes. IF you guys changed it while in the transfer is not my fault. Besides, I sent you the picture of the blue print and still you guys want to blame it on me. Also, very disrespectful from ******* @Tuff Shed for hanging my phone call while I was speaking with you. People please do not support Tuff Shed as they do not comply with the agreements.****** ****** ** CMQ/OETuff Shed, Inc.

So when we bought our house in 2019, part of the closing was a shed in the back yard. So the builder got a Tuff Shed. It's a nice building but due to the winds in ********, it has folded over the shingles and to my surprise, there is no tar paper underneath the shingles. I called Tuff Shed and they said that there should be tar paper, but because we did not buy the shed directly ourselves, there is no warranty. So now we have a nice shed with a leaking roof that we have to pay for a new roof out of pocket. I would recommend to all people who consider buying a Tuff Shed to inspect the roof, so you don't run into the same problem. I am very disappointed in their warranty program and their leaking roof.Tuff Shed, Inc.

Rude and unprofessional service from ****** *******, Tuff Shed *** in ***** *****. Took 2 weeks to respond to an inquiry regarding a shed. After not receiving a response, I followed up. He then responds and is a complete jerk! I expected better service from such a large well known company.Tuff Shed, Inc.

Absolutely terrible service Im currently still not finished with the project and its going on months. I had to pay before it was finished so they have my money paid in full. No call backs from management, terrible assistance for a first time buyer. Sent people to my house with no appointment causing delays. Unfortunately not many other options.Tuff Shed, Inc.

It seems as though they do everything but give the customer a properly constructed product. Huge lack of support from the tuff shed team. As soon as they install, all communication seems to disappear. My building 24x20 was built In a matter of 2 days. The first day they put up each wall without one level or square. They never heard of squaring a building when I asked before they started setting trusses. Two of the doors were mis placed requiring surgery. Tuff Shed expects the customer to be the supervisor and run the job. The inspector confirmed that by saying that Tuff Shed expects him to catch mistakes. My garage door is twisted 3/4" causing a miss alignment. Siding was peppered with nails that missed all the studs, I personally caulked 200 deep nail holes. Door was 1/4" off of the ground because they left the protective corners for shipping on when they set the frame.
Workers also threw tools down chipping the perfect concrete. The workers try and get away with sub standard work. I will probably use someone local and save money with a better quality.Tuff Shed, Inc.

Beware of using Tuff Shed. Bought a unit in February and they promised it would be completed in 52 working days. Was stuck in "Engineering" for over 5 months. Then they finally started the purchasing of the parts and the build wasn't started until November. I was in contact with them every few weeks and they never contacted me even when there was a delay or they said they would. Overall was a 10 month process. Contractors worked late, in the dark, with no lights except for their cell phones. **** safety issue and possible quality issues. 6 weeks after they finished, the wind has loosened the roof tiles. Sent video to Tuff Shed showing the tabs blowing backward in the wind and have not heard back from them 4 days later. They have both phone and email information. With the roof loosing sealed integrity, possible water damage to building and items in the building. Have been told that they used the wrong type of shingles. Should have been a metal roof or Lifetime Dimensional shingles because of wind. You would think if it was in "Engineering" for 5 months, they would have saw that. They did take wind into account for the structure. Why not the roof? Once again waiting for Tuff Shed to make contact. Will be interesting to see if they take any responsibility and replace the roof.Review fromRaymond O

My nightmare began Feb. 20, 2024 when I paid in full for a 10' x 12' Sundance Series TR-700 Utility Shed. It was FINALLY installed on July 10, 2024 when we were back home in ****, **. Per the options I chose 4- 12 x 12 custom upper wall vents were to be installed. Being Snowbirds we just returned to find that there are no vents. Heat and humidity is built up in the unit because of no air circulation. Have left numerous messages for upper management at both Tuff Shed and **********. Still no response which as been my experience in the past. In the past regarding previous problems, letters were sent to the CEO, *************** Officer, and Executive VP of Supply Chain with no response. This nightmare continues. Both companies have very little concern for the customer. Appears an Attorney will have to be retained to resolve this issue. A text was received from the Permit Admin. informing to contact a Mr. *** *****, an area sales manager, which I did. He was very upset with my wife and myself for bothering him. Tried to explain the situation to him but he kept interrupting me with negative comments. In short did not want to be involved in this situation. As usual, nothing has been resolved. Our patience is growing very thin with both of these companies. This purchase has been the biggest mistake of my life. In the past I have been successful in discouraging dozens of customers from making the same mistake that I did in buying a Tuff Shed. Hopefully someone will return my call from either company to resolve this issue.Tuff Shed, Inc.

My Experience with Tuff Shed: ****************************** and Workmanship Initially, I was thrilled with my Tuff Shed purchase and gave a 5-star review. Unfortunately, significant issues arose due to the shed not being properly blocked during construction. This caused the front left side to drop, making the doors and hasp difficult to ********** September 2023, I contacted ********* from Warranty Claims (OKC). She sent one technician, but he couldnt lift the shed to add blocks or shims without my assistance. While this resolved the problem temporarily, it reoccurred in August 2024.I reached out again, explaining the recurring issue and the need for proper blocking. This time, ********* sent two technicians. After I walked them through the problem, I left for an appointment. When I returned, they had left a mess: the shims stuck out, preventing lattice reattachment, the hasp barely worked, and the metal frame was damaged. ********* refused to lift the shed, stating the technicians were only authorized to work on the doors. She promised to send a team to address the mess, but after waiting two months without action, I hired contractors at my own expense to fix the issues.I also wrote to CEO *** ****** to address my concerns but received no response. This experience revealed major deficiencies in Tuff Shed's construction quality, warranty service, and customer care. While I initially gave a glowing review, I now feel compelled to give a negative rating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Tuff Shed to others.Tuff Shed, Inc.

We have contacted the team that recently serviced your shed and understand your concerns regarding the building settling in your yard. During their visit, the team took the necessary steps to re-level the structure and adjust the door. They also explained that, due to soil erosion caused by water from your sprinklers, this issue is likely to recur. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns or if we can assist further.Rick

Subject: Escalation of Complaint Request for Resolution Dear Tuff Shed Representative,Thank you for your response to my complaint. However, I am deeply dissatisfied with the continued dismissal of the core issues and the quality of service provided. Below, I address the points raised in your response:Deceptive Practices 1. Construction Assurances: Tuff Shed assured me that the shed would be adequately blocked and supported during construction, negating the need for a concrete pad. This assurance proved false, as improper blocking caused the structure to settle and shift, leading to repeated issues.2. Misrepresentation During Warranty Service: When I contacted ********* and explained the recurring issue, I was led to believe the technicians were coming to re-level the shed properly. At no point was I informed they were restricted to door adjustments until after further damage was caused.Deflection of Responsibility 1. Sprinkler Head Blame: Your response attributes the problem to a sprinkler head located over 13 inches from the shed that sprays away from the structure. This deflection is baseless, as shown in the photos I provided (also available in my ****** and social media reviews). The issue stems from Tuff Sheds failure to adequately block the shed during its initial construction and subsequent warranty repairs.Unscrupulous Business Practices 1. Shoddy Repairs: During the last repair visit, the technicians left the shed in worse condition:a. Protruding shims preventing lattice reattachment.b. A barely operable hasp.c. Damage to the metal frame. Despite repeated communication and photos sent to ********* and your team, no efforts were made to rectify this situation.2. Failure to Follow Through: Stephanies promise to send a team to fix the technicians' mess was not honored, forcing me to hire contractors at my expense to restore the sheds functionality.Failure to Acknowledge and Resolve 1. I escalated my concerns by writing directly to CEO *** ******, attaching evidence of the damage caused by your technicians and the insufficient repairs. My letter went unanswered. This lack of accountability is unacceptable from a company of Tuff Sheds standing. Conclusion My repeated attempts to address these issues were met with inadequate responses, delays, and ultimately, additional costs on my end to remedy your teams errors. This demonstrates a pattern of:* Deception: Misleading assurances and miscommunication.* Deflection: Baselessly blaming external factors.* Negligence: Poor workmanship and unfulfilled promises.* Unprofessionalism: Ignoring customer concerns and correspondence.I expect Tuff Shed to:Compensate me for the costs incurred to repair the shed.1. Provide assurance that your processes and warranty practices will be reviewed and improved to prevent similar experiences for other customers.2. Should you fail to respond meaningfully, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further, including filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and sharing my detailed experience widely.I look forward to your response and resolution within 10 business days.Review fromBrian H
