      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 22436855, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I do believe they have taken the false advertisment down now. The review they made in retaliation is still up

      Sincerely,

Dezirae Carliny ****** review. Is this something you guys can help with? I am attaching the correspondences with her

      Business Response

Bellwether is owned by Josh Dembicki exclusively. Amy works for Bellwether in a telephone reception role. Unfortunately, Bellwether no longer offers the Vesta product line. It is a difficult product to work with and has a poor quality result. At one time, Bellwether was the #1 installer of Vesta in the state of Colorado. Recently, a past customer of ours spend six months searching for a company that would be willing to install Vesta and ended up not being able to find someone. The case could  be made that Bellwether is still the #1 Installer of Vesta metal siding, as Bellwether was the first in Colorado, and is still arguably the best, despite no longer offering the product. I cannot speak to the argument that Amy had with Dezirae, but I can say that Dezirae left a review of Bellwether on Bellwether’s Google Maps listing despite never having contracted with Bellwether, and despite her contacting Bellwether as the representative of a fellow contracting company, which could be perceived as a conflict of interest and is against Google’s policies. Amy did admit to leaving a review for Dezirae’s contracting business on the basis of her interactions with Dezirae when she called to schedule an appointment. However, when I explained to Amy that this may be against Google’s policies, since technically we are competitors, Amy removed her review. Additionally, Bellwether has removed mention of Vesta from its website. Even though we feel justified in having Vesta listed on our website for the reasons listed above, we removed it because it is the worst product a homeowner could ever make mistake of installing and we don’t want anyone to think that company with our level of reputation still endorses such an awful product. I would personally like to thank Dezirae for bringing this matter to our attention. I thought we had already removed the product from our website and was appalled when I learned that I was still visible to potential customers. I immediately contacted our web developers to remove it and to instead make a web page detailing all of ways in which it is horrible product that nobody should install.
