    The owner of this company quoted me a flat fee for a technician to come out and assess my furnace. I asked if his technician would be able to take a card for payment, and he said yes. After the consultation, the technician motioned for me to hand him my card for the payment. I handed him my card with the expectation that he had a mobile card reader. Without my awareness, the technician texted my debit card number and the security code to a group text of 3-4 people. He insisted that this was their customary way of accepting payment, that someone in the office was entering the payment. I had to cancel the debit card immediately when he left my home, as it could have easily been used to clear out my checking account by purchasing gift cards etc. In addition, the technician was a bit too pushy trying to get me to pay them to fix it today, even after I said no less than 5 times that I intended to collect multiple quotes. When I asked the technician what the cost would be to entirely replace my furnace, he did not answer, but instead replied that it would be $15,000 to replace the furnace and air conditioning together. I live in a one story condo unit under **** sqft total, so $15k is just absurd. The company seemed suspicious overall, possibly scammers.
