    Avoid this business. Cancelled scheduled date after waiting 3 weeks after arrival time. Not associated with ACE as handyman **** frequently leaves to ********** for extended times. Before start of project, I was assured all required supplies would be on the handyman's truck by **** at the office. The upcharge is crazy. Charged me a $100 for a $12 water valve. Tracked dirty shoes all over carpet requiring 3 shampoos to get the dirt out. **** was asked and provided shoe covering but refused. Installed a trip hazard for flooring transition. Asked to replace flooring, he put flooring over old moldy floor. Left large gaps in between flooring planks. Wall cove base was installed perfectly in some walls/corners while others buckled, had large gaps so they didn't meet. He painted half of one bathroom and got paint on wall cove base, bathroom fixtures, door frame. Paint was poured down the drain of one bathroom. When shown the problems, **** said he was going to his truck to get items needed to correct the damage. Instead he got in his truck and took off. While the toilet was moved, it was damaged. I called and emailed Ace Handyman and did not receive a response for 2 days and was forced to call a plumber to fix the toilet.the original estimate was for $2,200. I paid $1,200 for the first day's work. I was sent an invoice for the second day for an additional $1,218.75. Other than a new bathroom fan, nothing was fixed correctly or finished. The business refused to acknowledge the damage after viewing all the photos. Ace handyman creates work and causes damage to make additional money. We are seniors and are being taken advantage of.Do not use this business
