  Terrible experience with this company. I hired then to complete an extensive renovation of a Victorian home with a new basement and addition. *************************************** was condescending, dishonest, and has refused to correct multiple major defects with their work. They hired third party inspectors themselves to sign off on shoddy work, which has resulted in chronic issues with flooding of my basement. I have had to replace or redo most of the plumbing appliances they installed, including a brand new sump pump, disposal, and hot water heater. I have had to hire a new company to completely redo the poorly installed and broken drainage from my basement, to the tune of $15k, which they refuse to cover.Despite plans outlined by the structural engineers to install helical piers to reinforce the foundation of the existing home, this was never done, and now both the old and new sections of the home are settling significantly. In addition to damage to the walls, this has resulted in an inability to fully open several interior doors, as well as to securely lock the front door.The hardwood floors had a manufacturing defect, which they claim to have discussed with the manufacturer, but in fact were never contacted, never replaced or given a credit for - 3 years after moving in, they will also have to be completely replaced on my dime.******************** has been made aware of all of these issues, and has refused to remedy any of them. It is also interesting that they suddenly have multiple 5 star reviews within a one week time period in Feb 2024. These were written in the timeframe I filed a formal complaint with the BBB about these issues. I suspect they were written by the company themselves to offset the complaint.Do not hire this company.

  We recently had the pleasure of working with **** and *********** on the complete remodel of our home. We purchased an older home with the intent doing some modest updating here and there. Due to the presence of lead and asbestos nearly everywhere, we wound up gutting the whole thing. With absolutely no plan and a limeted budget, GDB guided us through every step from abatement to finish selections. Each trade we encountered was always friendly and helpful. We managed to complete our project within a resonable timeframe and within the budget promised. **** and *********** saved the day. I can't thank them enough for all their help and for our beautiful new home.

  *** worked with **** and ***** for years! They have redone several of my clients homes as well as my own ADU. They are extremely responsive and professional and their build quality is stellar. So much so that I recommended them for a 15 unit new development project. ************ love working with them as well. And it made me look like a hero. Appreciate their attention to detail and the way they keep us educated on the process!

  I've known Grey Design for several years. Understanding that construction and scheduling is a constant moving target making appeasing clients a constant challenge, their strong attachment to integrity, client respect and commitment to customer satisfaction is what stood out to me. In a world of competing businesses this is all we can do. Not all jobs go smooth and ultimately you create a very personnel relationship with a contractor when entering a remodel, new build or in my case a kitchen. Most relationships prevail while others suffer. It is the name of the game.Osage CabinetMakers

  **** and *********** built us a house in the highlands. It was a challenging pop the top and it was great to work with such professionals! They did a great job communicating and getting the job done under the terms they discussed. They where knowledgeable in what the city needed and really paid attention to detail. They were very honest and worked very fast. I would highly recommend ****'s design build and started other projects with them already.

  I have worked with ********************* and *************************** from Grey Design Build for over 10 years in both professional and customer settings. I have only know them to be extremely professional and hard working individuals. Continuously I have seen them both **** over backwards to meet the customers needs and wants, whether it was included in initial scope of work or not. The quality of work they have continued to produce in the ****** area over the years speaks for itself. I would highly recommend Grey Design Build for any of your construction needs.

  We had a wonderful experience working with **** and his team, and have happily referred him to friends who have also had positive outcomes. As with any large-scale renovation project, communication is critical, and **** was always proactive and responsive, and very willing to make things right (bumps in the road, whether budget or timeline-related, are inevitable when gutting a home). I also appreciated and trusted his input, whether it was where to spend (and where to save) or just wanting a second opinion (so many decisions to make!). Renovation can be really stressful, but I'd hire this team again in a heartbeat.

  As a noted *********** Broker and developer in the ****** market for more than 35 years, i have had the opportunity to work or deal with many builders. Grey Design build is at the top of my list as one of the best anyone looking for *********** construction / Renovation, can find. As the President of my *********** group, i have had them on my team as my builder for several custom homes.Their expertise, onsite scrutiny, and attention to all details large and miniscule is incredible. They work diligently, with regard to clients financial costs to make sure the project comes in on budget (working hard to cut costs where they can to save money- with sacrificing quality). Having experienced personally the breath of builders in our market- I can say without reserve, they are head and shoulders above the majority of them. I would give then 10 stars if I could. ****************

  Would not recommend Grey Design Build. *********************** never wrote anything down during our entire project. We had workers show-up sporadically; not consistently. Subs disappeared and changed in the middle of everything. We had delays and added costs because of bad or no communication. Hard wood floors were trashed and other materials lost or damaged. He was quick to threaten a lien. Overall, terrible experience.
