I would give them a negative star. This company is a piece of work. I wait a hour on the side of the highway waiting for a call. They call me saying theyre sending out a driver. He would be there in 10 min 25min later he rolls up. He tells me its ****** hr and it started when he left the yard and continues until he goes back to the yard. Like he would drive right back to the yard like he came straight to the pickup. I will let family/friends/acquaintances know never use Mirage towing and recovery. Its a ripoff. He just drove off and left us there on the side of the road. So we called another company and they took care of us. Mirage is a ripoff

In response to your statement, I was in the office when we took the call from a lady (I believe ********) and she stated that our driver got out of his truck and immediately started screaming at her and that he showed up late to the call. She also stated that we shouldn't be able to charge port to port since our driver got there later than expected and that we were just going to add to her time. Our dispatcher stated that our driver was finishing up a call and would head that way when they were dropped. The lady also stated that she was going to call her lawyer about what we were doing with the way we run our rates. I then advised our driver to leave the scene because the tow operator in question (****) is probably one of the nicest people I have ever been around and I didn't want him to be in that situation. When our driver returned to the lot, I reviewed his video and could clearly see that he did not yell nor did he sit and stare at the female customer while he went back to his truck. Our tow operator actually was talking to the **** Courtesy Patrol, who was also on scene while they both walked to the disabled vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was a male but he wasn't the caller for the tow but was present at the vehicle and what he wrote above versus what I have on audio recording and video does not jive. I am sorry that we didn't clearly communicate how our rates work and that it ended by us leaving the scene. It should also be noted that **** Courtesy Patrol tow truck was on scene when we arrived and also when we left so they were not alone.
