After bringing a business opportunity to ******, he proposed this same opportunity to his GC *******************, who would be needed for big land development projects with the Principal of the land. There was a meeting planned with the initial Broker who represents the Principal of the land, ****** and his ***************, and I was invited to the meeting as well given that I am the one who built rapport with the first Broker and introduced the opportunity to ******. Well our meeting did not go so great, ****** and his GC we're not prepared and could not agree on percentages during the meeting, the energy between those two felt very personal and they did not come with any plans, bids or numbers to review with myself or the Broker. After they finally hashed out some verbal agreement ****** pulls me to the side to only tell me that his percentage was being reduced which in return would reduce mine. Long story short I gave it some thought and decided to send ****** a professional email letting him know this arrangement with his GC was not going to work and I would be going in a different direction. I did include in the email that ****** could be considered for other sub contractor projects with a new GC. Shortly after I got a phone call from ****** being very hostile, and rude on the phone saying I wasted his time and why didn't I say that at the meeting. He tried to tell me he took off work just to be at the meeting but in fact I am not the one planned the meeting or reached out to the Initial Broker to put the meeting together. The meeting was planned on their own accord, I was invited per text messages from ******. So during that phone call I told him that or tried to he then called me all kinds of distasteful names, and became very upset and unprofessional. I thought I really knew ****** and would of never imagined he would behave in such a manner. This is not the kind of person I would want to do business with ever!
