    The same employee has made blatantly untrue statements to me twice in the past month when I dropped off parcels with *** shipping labels already attached. I purchase and print my own labels then drop off parcels at the *** store location. First occasion, I presented the employee an international shipment with all customs paperwork which ups.com generated with my shipping label. The instructions provided by ups.com clearly stated that the representative accepting my parcel was to sign copies of the documents as my proof of acceptance. The *** Store employee said "No, I don't need to sign anything." Handing me back the unsigned customs form he said "This is your receipt". I insisted he actually sign the form and made him read where it explicitly called for the his signature. He scribbled an illegible **** on the form and handed it back to me.Second occasion, same employee received a parcel for domestic delivery with my label attached. I asked for a receipt. He said, "You just take picture of this" (pointing to the label on the box), "this is your receipt." I insisted he scan in the package and print out a receipt just as I have had done hundreds of times in the past at many *** stores and depots. He relented and did as I asked giving me a receipt.I don't know if this person simply is ignorant of *** policies or if he is knowingly misleading customers to prevent them from getting proper proof of shipment. Taking a photo of a shipping label does NOT constitute proof of *** receiving my package. If I had left the package without getting that printed receipt and *** had lost the package I would have little recourse in filing a claim as I could not prove I ever dropped it off at ***.
