Why am I not surprised to see that SendGrid has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau? In my 29 years of experience as a professional software engineer, I have never encountered anything like this before! It makes me feel nauseous to know that such a rotten company even exists. Read the other reviews and complaints here about SendGrid, and save your time, money, effort, and sanity from getting tangled up with such a horrendously awful "business" such as this.

Miserable experience. I had canceled my account and they kept billing me. I tried to contact Customer Service...GOOD LUCK! Not a chance, there is NO WAY to contact anyone and get some help. Absolutely the WORST company in the industry. Help yourself and avoid SendGrid AT ALL COST!

I was a customer for many ******** reputation score. I had 89 API keys for various websites we host. We pay (past tense) SendGrid to relay email generated from forms on the website. We did business with Sendgrid for over five years. On Sept 18th, 2023, one API key was stolen and abused due to a website hack. We deleted the key, and the problem was resolved. 18 hours later, the whole SendGrid account, all 88 API keys, are locked. Thousands of e-commerce emails are not being delivered to customerspanic moment. Customer support response time is +48 hours between hearing from them. It's been six days now, and still no resolution. We are moving all business to another vendor. Get this: one of the nine 'tasks' to get the account back in good order was to reset all API keys. That is funny. It's easier to go to a competitor. The other vendor has a live chat that works and is responsive. It makes it an easy decision to move. I need to find out how vendors like this stay in business - oh, and the *** 2FA to log in? Is that still a thing? Not a secure solution!!!! If you are with SendGrid now, wait until you need Support to resolve an issue. You will find yourself screwed. Dont be like us. Get ahead of the problem and move to another vendor right away.

I have never been so frustrated with a business. They charged my credit card after I cancelled the account and deleted my credit card. I cancelled the account because I could not get any support from them. They suspended my account at the beginning of the month and I tried to work through the issues that were happening, as well as to ask that we discuss the billing during the suspension time. I could not get a human on the phone and their emails were at 2am so the delay in communication was bad. I got an email saying to not worry about the billing but then when the issue was resolved they said I had to pay full price for the time that I couldn't use the system, and pay for contacts that I deleted within the first days of the month. Now, they resurrected my credit card again (I deleted it two months ago) and charged it. I finally got an email address from their auto phone system and just got email back saying the email address doesn't work. Go anywhere else but here for business.

All I'm trying to do is send some darn emails! I can't run my business with Twilio SendGrid constantly having my account in review. It's costing me time and money. If someone buys my course I need to send them their login details but I can't because Twilio SendGrid is not working and every time I ask them about it they say it's in review but they don't give me any reason why it's in review and how long it will be in review. There advertising said that if I signed up with them that I could start sending emails in minutes, but now it's been days. False advertising. Such a shame and extremely frustrating.

Horrible! I've never had as many problems with any business as Sendgrid. They lock you out of your account for no reason. I've recently got "Your account is under review. Please check your ticket history for more information or contact us with questions. Contact Us" but when you try to contact them, the page doesn't work. They have no support system and should NOT be trusted by any business owner.
