  Shipping process is inadequate. Threatened to send me to collection’s because the book was not returned on return date, even though I extended my rental. Staff harassed me with multiple text messages a day regarding payment even when they pulled the payment from my account!! Horrible customer service! Unwilling to find resolution, just threatened to send to collections. Buyer beware, not a business you want to work with.

  SCAM COMPANY! Better Business bureau I will be contacting you to discuss this company. How do you allow them to still operate? I (a 47 year old adult, not college student) unknowingly knew about the bad reviews this company had and rented a book for my son. I personally put the book in a box, sealed it and dropped it at the post office. I initially got a text from Kevin saying they received an empty box. I knew that was bull so I went online and found all the bad reviews /scams about this business. At the time I asked “Kevin” to call me but he never did. Then a few weeks later I received a text message from “Joe” AKA Salil Chopra who told me the same thing and he sent pictures of the box showing a small opening and claims the “book fell out” lol. It was a big textbook! So “Joe” did call me and I called him out on his lie but of course he didn’t like that so He cursed me out (so professional! ) Threatened collections and hung up. Obviously not a reputable business. Probably some guy in his basement. BEWARE.

  Everytext.com is a scam and you will never get what you have rented.. They have no customer service, as you will leave a voicemail/ email and no one responds back. I don't understand how they continue in business.BUYER BEWARE!!!

  I had not realized that I rented a book instead of bought one, so when I started getting nonstop phone calls today I was confused. As a graduate student, I have a lot of experience renting books, but, because my go to website "VitalSource.com" (which is amazing by the way) was out of this book, I had to go elsewhere. On my phone, I put in the book title and hit shopping on Google and this place Everytext.com LLC came up, so I figured I would try it because it was a low price for the book. There were no contracts, agreements, or warnings of rental fees, you just put in you card number and pay, and then the book comes a few weeks later. Anyway, fast forward, the semester ended in early July 2022, so when I did not check my college email for a few weeks, come to find out, they had been harassing me over sending the book back. I was confused, because I thought I had purchased it. Anyway, today while I am on break at work I answered the scam likely call because I am tired of it calling nonstop for the last 2 days. The person who answered was rude, could barely speak English, and called me delusional and a drug addict; he was asking for the book to be mailed back to who knows where and if not, for me to pay a $30 fee, and if I did neither, he said that I would be forced to pay $482.00 in collections ( which is illegal price gouging if you ask me; I have screenshots proving all this). Anyway, after going back and forth and emailing customer service directly to get away from this psychopath, I was finally able to pay the $30.00 fee, making my total over $55 for a 3-4 year old book that is sold for $35ish on Amazon, well I am the dummy and I will never use this company again. That employee and another who texted me two days prior were both extremely aggressive and unprofessional, I wish I could take them to court and I still may, because there was no rental agreement that I agreed to; he even admitted that. The reaction was absolutely insane; stay away from this bad company!
