    Paid a bill from 2017, that I never received, on July 18 2023. Still no receipt that it was paid by email or in the mail. 3 different stories in how long it takes. Had to give a star to review but they get negative stars from me. I need this receipt as asap and they don't care

    I TALKED TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE 6/22/23 AT APROX *******. THEY STATED THAT THEY ONLY SENT OUT A LETTER ON 6/21/21. TODAY 6/22/23 AT 10AM THEY PUT IT ON MY CREDIT REPORT. THEY REFUSED TO WORK WITH ME ON A PAYMENT PLAN. THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY. THEY DEEMED IT FAIR TO SEND OUT ONLY 1 LETTER, 2 YEARS AGO AND THEAT THEY HAD EVERY RIGHT TO PUT IT ON MY REPORT. THE MANAGER I SPOKE TO WAS RUDE AND LAUGHED WHEN I SAID SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE NICER BECAUSE I'M THE CUSTOMER. NEWS FLASH, IF YOU'RE TRYING TO TAKE ANYONES MONEY AS A PAYMENT, YOU ARE IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FIELD. EVERY CREDITOR I'VE WORKED WITH SINCE THE PANDEMIC HAS BEEN MORE THEN UNDERSTANDING (SHOCKING) AND HAVE REDUCED THE AMOUNT I OWED. ****** AND WEINER PUT SENT ME 1 LETTER (SO THEY CLAIM) 2 YEARS AGO. MOST PLACES SEND ON OUT MONTHLY OR BIMONTHLY. CAINE & WIENER, YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!OH AND PROGRESSIVE, I WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN SINCE YOU USE THIS COMPANY AS YOUR CREDITOR.....

    I talked with Caine & Weiners supervisor ************************* via phone on 2-21-23 at the ****************** 4th floor, ******* Oaks, **. ***** site, and told her that the amount of money that I owe as of 2-21-23, based off my credit bureau dated the same day, less payments already made, that I was prepared to payoff that amount completely. However, she came back with a different amount, that was not based off my bureau, in addition to that, she had not factored in the amount that I had already paid.What made me distrustful of the numbers that this supervisor gave me, was I have called several other times, and I was told different settlement amounts. And what I was told by this company, I feel, is not above table. It is my sole wish to just get the matter handled in an equitable manner and move on with my life.Respectfully submitted,*******************************

    I have made several attempts to dispute with Caine & Weiner about a collection that has been paid in full, they will not acknowledge that it has been paid and they will not remove from my credit. I have spoken to 2 representatives who were both unhelpful and rude, I have also emailed C&W with with a signed letter from the manager of my bank stating that the transaction has completed successfully. Still no response. I would certainly expect a company whose primary goal is to collect money from people who mis-manage finances, that they would set a good example and manage their own! Or at the very least, be willing to take the time to look into it. I should be able to charge them interest considering they have my money and have not done their jobs with it!!     This company reached out to an entirely different company (than ours) and provided them with all of our debt information, which has nothing to do with them. When I found out and emailed **** from ****************************** asking how and why he gave out our information to total strangers who had nothing to do with this debt, this was his exact response.. "I understand you are not happy with my giving out information. However this is a commercial account, not a personal account, so it is not governed by disclosure laws."
    *********** who hired them reached out via email on 10/6/22 and asked for the file to be closed because a payment plan was established in house. They did not close it. And have continued to harass due to them not listening to the email that asked them to close the acct. It has since been paid in full since the start of December and now **** from ***** and Weiner is asking me to send him proof that the acct is paid in full, instead of doing his job and reaching out to the company that hired them to collect that information. I am not happy and this is a horrible company.

    Unfortunately, the representative we spoke to today told my spouse to "Do the math" when we asked about their billing cycle. All we wanted to know was how frequent that was and if they had reported our payment to the credit bureau yet. Instead of letting ** know what their billing cycles were, he said to do the math... When we finally got our answer and told them that was all we needed, the representative hung up the phone. No "Do you need anything else?" or "Have a nice day." Nothing. Highly disappointed with their lack of customer service when we do not owe a balance and simply wanted to know that they had a record of the payment and had reported it to the credit bureaus.

    We were told a manager was supposed to be calling us back after speaking to the first representative. The only two options when you call the business number are not to speak to a manager.

    I have talked to this company on a few different occasions about a 116 balance to ********************* so I initially talked to someone from this company that was rude and unprofessional on the phone,so I didn't pay my balance,,called and again I swear it was the same guy,,and rude so I asked if I can speak to a manager I didn't have patience for him and wanted to resolve this matter,,so my ? Is why I can't get a confirmation of my payment for 48 hours after they harassed me!! Still waiting on my confirmation of payment and I'm go keep harassing them until I get it
