    I was referred to ******** Grading and paving through a friend. I had them come look at the space and he quoted me a price. I couldn't afford it at the time, so I passed. A week later, the owner ***** called me and offered to do it for roughly half of the original price. They showed up to do the job, and immediately tried to just grind and pave over the existing 40+ year old pavement, which was not our deal. The deal was to cut out the old pavement and install 4" of new pavement. After some negotiations, he begrudgingly agreed to hold to the deal. I was very specific that low spots could not be in front of the shop to make puddles, and there were plenty when they were done. The asphalt was poorly packed, and months later, still too soft to drive on without creating divots when turning a wheel. It is over a year out now and it is still soft in warm weather, and is crumbling in areas because of the poor packing. I was promised sealer multiple times for the outside edges which never was given to me. I have reached out to the owner several times only to receive angry, profane responses. My most recent interactions with the owner have ended in him telling me to get a lawyer. I also asked for a **** when I made payment, which was ignored. Buyer beware.
