      I just discovered that Chegg has been taking $17 a month out of my account for 3 years, 9 months for education services, since my son graduated from college. He had to sign up for their services during college, but was never told to cancel at graduation, nor was he asked annually if he wanted to resubscribe for another year. Looking at my bank accounts they've been charging me for 45 months, or $765. They don't answer a phone call, they push you to a bot, then after multiple tries someone was texting me that they would cancel the account (my son had set ** in his email, my bank card), and refund 2 months out of 45 because "their computer only let's them do 2 months". unbelievable. i am so upset. They should have the student put in their graduation date and then send reminders at that month to the 'member'...!!!!!!!

      My son has attempted to cancel his subscription twice, and this company continues to charge our credit card. I had to submit a dispute today with our credit card company, but I am only able to take it back to May of this year, since I do not have the exact date of when he tried to cancel his subscription which was probably sometime in January of 2023, since he had finished the class for which he needed the subscription. This company is awful. They refuse to do a refund without a dispute from your credit card company, they have long hold times for talking to customer service, and they do not cancel your subscription when you request that it be done via the web site. You actually have to call customer service and wait on hold. We will see if they try to bill me again next month. Stay away from this company unless you want a recurring fee on your credit card for months even after you have made multiple attempts to cancel your subscription

      Chegg will not stop charging a card that I have not authorized. I requested removal of this card from their systems multiple times, and they continue to charge the wrong card. Their representatives provide no identifying information (not even a first name or identifying number) to avoid any responsibility. I can't believe they're even allowed to operate.

      This company is quite literally stealing money from people. I've canceled my subscription TWICE and they still keep charging me, I had to block their charges through my bank. I'm attempting to get a refund but their customer service is non existent.

      I never signed up for this account. I informed their customer service and they did not care. They sent me a link to delete my account that took me in circles. The only reason I knew about it is because it showed ** in a compromised account password search. This has scam written all over it.

      I signed up thinking they could help me understand course content and answer questions correctly. The three questions I looked at were completely wrong. I reached out to customer support less than an hour after I signed up to see about a refund since the provided service failed me and they refused to help citing the Terms of Use. They may be technically correct and legally protected but they are operating in bad faith.

      Have illegally kept charging my account when I canceled three months ago. The absolute worse customer service. Will definitely report fraud on my credit card.

      Awful customer service, they are always rude and disrespectful if you can even reach them. They have shut off my account 4 times now with no reason as to why other than violating the terms of service even though I have not and each time that it has happened they have waited 48 hours and then turned my account back on saying nothing was actually wrong, with no reason as to why they did it in the first place. Chegg was really good at first and now its literally scam level, also most of the answers they provide are wrong as well now because no one wants to work for them.

      Horrible they keep attempting to try collect on money even though i used the site one time and I cancelled the subscription. They had tried to run my card so many times one of my debit cards was flagged for fraudulent activity. Called customer service and they are incompetent and just said that they will keep charging card even though I told them what happened. THE WORST.
