  I have a wonderful experience with ******s assigned Contra Costa ******************************** to install a new furnace and an A/C unit. Raji was friendly and responded to all my concerns and queries. The quote was a bit higher than other contractors but after the 15% ****** digital shopping card credit, the difference is marginal. I highly recommend ****** and Contra Costa Heating and Cooling.

  Once again, they fail to answer the phone or email. I have an issue with birds eating the insulation for the pipes. In July, I finally received an email telling me they would be out on August 8 to repair on a time and material basis. On that date, I received an email stating the parts they ordered hadn't arrived, and they would call back to reschedule.That's the last I heard from them. Last week I emailed them basically telling them their services were no longer needed.As an aside, I notice on their website they are BBB accredited...

  These guys were great until there was a problem. Then they refused to pick up the phone or call back, requiring that I hire a different company to fix the problems.They installed a heater using a too-small return duct, so the fan was laboring with a 4X higher pressure. It sounded like a helicopter in the living room. Also they had a leak in the new air conditioning system. They refused to fix both issues. Basically if they make a mistake, it becomes your problem, and don't count on their warranty.Don't use these guys.

  They had quoted a split system installation work which I signed off on. A day after contract was signed, the contractor calls and says they need to raise the price by 50%. I ask them why that is the case, they say it was not scoped correctly even though they came in person to scope the work and proceeded to tell me its still a good price. They continued to try winning back the business and the owner came to quote it correctly. He was going to cut all margins because they screwed me over and sent back a revised contract that was about 30% higher. They were shady again and just took out ******************* and work that needed to be done on the roof instead of cutting their margins. They are the shadiest business Ive ever seen. Do not ever work with them.

  Purchased HVAC services through ****** and needed their help when we complained that the flow of heat was too hot in the bathroom and bedroom. The company wanted us to pay an additional fee to adjust the vents and the office clerk, *****, has an axe to grind. Instead of working together, they made it difficult to have our annual maintenance service etc. if you feel the job wasnt done right, I guess your supposed to accept it? Worst $19K ever spent- sadly!
