  **************** is difficult to reach and will tell you that they are more interested in protecting their markets than in you as a customer. I asked for a credit (not my money back) and I was labelled as a problem account holder. They chose to use their company policies to punish me instead of working with me. Does this sound like the kind of company you want to work with?

  Unfortunately I am unable to leave zero stars. Received an email from this company with the following information, "Thank you for staying with Udemy! Your monthly subscription plan will be activated tomorrow. After that you will be able to login to your profile with an email address, and get a full access to your course.We will renew this gold subscription automatically with the bank details you have mentioned during the registration process.All the important information about your premium subscription is attached in the e-invoice. If for some reason you would like to cancel this subscription, check out our customer care service phone number in the invoice, our team of professionals will help with any question you will have..." The email was from an "aol.com" address. I have NEVER heard of this company much less subscribed to their services or subscription! Whoever they are it seems to be a scam and the Attorney General's Offices in each state need to get involved and investigate!! A class action law suit was filed against them and in May, 2023 they agreed to pay $4 million dollars. I don't know who they are but I would certainly NEVER, EVER recommend them to ANYONE. It has SCAM written all over it.

  One of my researchers wanted to take some courses on Unity to help in her current work effort. She identified Udemy as having several classes that looked helpful, so she identified one she deemed to be a good start. Since I have a university purchasing card and she didn't, I told her to get to the pay screen and I'd use my card to pay for it. Unfortunately, we didn't notice the tax added until after we had completed the transaction. As we are a tax-exempt organization, we immediately tried to notify Udemy of the error and try to get it corrected. It turned out there was no way to contact them by phone, and email attempts proved fruitless. The more we tried the more it seemed that the company was a scam. After repeated attempts to contact them and providing ample proof of our tax exempt status, we ultimately got a refund of the tax amount. And as it turned out one can't buy an individual class without buying a membership of some level. Needless to say we won't be doing any business with this place.

  Udemy is a 100% fraudulent business. I do not know how they inquired my email address, but I've been receiving numerous emails from them trying to get me to enroll in their online courses. I never responded, just marked the messages as spam. Today I was looking at my monthly bank statement and happened to notice 6 unauthorized transactions from udemy totaling to $107.I have never given anyone my checking account info or debit card info ever! Udemy is saying that I'm "enrolled" in their courses. Ha! That's a total joke. How can I be enrolled in college courses when I don't even obtain a high school diploma or GED?! I have filed a fraud claim with my bank so let's see if they give me back the money they stole from my checking account. How did they even get my personal information in the first place to do such a thing!!?

  I had purchased thousands of courses on udemy over many years. Last week they told me they are terminating my account because of Identity Verification. Since I am unable to log into my udemy account, I requested a full refund for all the courses I purchased within the last 30 days. They refused to **** me a refund.I am not an instructor at udemy. I was just a student taking courses. I was willing to cooperate fully with udemy to verify my identity I participated in several online video sessions and displayed my US Passport Card fully proving my identity. It was difficult to communicate with them to clear up any misunderstandings. udemy did not want to help **** had assumed that my huge investment in udemy courses would be available for a lifetime but I was wrong. udemy will terminate your account for any excuse they deem fit even if I could prove them wrong. Don't make the same mistake as I did and assume that you can have lifetime access to course your purchased. Your account can be terminated for any reason they may claim without any proof and they will not help you or work with you to clear up any issues, even if you are a long-standing customer. They just don't care about their customers. I lost tens of thousands of dollars of my investment in ****************.

  I bought a course. Professional ***** and Bead Stringing by ****** *******. $17.00 was the cost, I did it because I have days off work and I wanted to learn something fun. They never sent me the course, but they took my money, and there's not costumers support platform, or email or anything to contact them, to get answers. It isn't to much money, but still significant. I really wanted to take that class. Its a SCAM.

  I requested a refund for an Udemy course. They said they have a 30-day guarantee for course refunds. However, I did not receive the refund to my original payment method. I got a refund in Udemy credits, which is not useful to me.
