    A course was purchased on 10/7/2022 for $24.99 with a "30-day Money Back Guarantee".After skimming over a small portion of the material (15% of the material was accessed according to Udemy), I requested a refund on 10/18/22 as the course was poorly constructed and did not meet my expectations.On 10/18/22 Udemy customer support responded that they could not refund me because my purchase occurred more than 30 days ago. I responded stating the course was purchased only 11 days ago.On 10/19/22 Udemy customer support then told me that they could not refund me because I enrolled in the course for free and was never charged. I replied with a copy of the invoice showing that my credit card I was charged $24.99 on 10/7/22.I am respectfully requesting a refund of the $24.99 per Udemy's "30-day Money Back Guarantee"

    Account just disappeared. I went to log in to my account with this company and all of a sudden "no information" I sent them an email with 8 screenshots of purchase and still I don't have my account back. What is this mess? Please assist.

    First: Udemy as a whole, does not have a way to reach out to someone, in the event the student has an issue. They have preformatted Q&A's, but not way for me to get a question to the instructor to get a question answered. So, to me that comes off as a scam. And I've noticed this with all Udemy courses.Second: Apparently, they encourage their instructors to turn off messaging, so you CANNOT get a question answered by any instructor at all. Which makes learning extremely difficult. And if Udemy is encouraging this, to me all they care about is money, and not making sure they're affective. Again, this comes off like a scam.Images are attached below. You'll see that message for the instructor is turned off, and that I paid for this course.

    Udemy as an idea is great. However, they're a couple of issues that does not help at all. 1. There's no way to get in contact with Udemy to resolve an issue with one of their instructors. How are you a business focused on education, but there isn't something in place where I can get feedback, or info from a representative at Udemy?2. Apparently instructors are encouraged to turn off their messaging, that way students THAT PAID FOR THE COURSE, cannot get in contact with them. So Udemy is ok with taking your money, but not ok to answer questions, nor allow you to get in contact with instructors to get questions answered About THEIR Course. This feels like a complete money grabbing scam to me.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However the refund isnt the main issue. The main issue is that Udemy has refused to make accommodations for me by allowing me to take screenshots but since your willing to give me a refund Ill take it for the discount Cashflow course. However I do still need to be able to take screenshots for the courses that I still have with Udemy and any future courses that I may want to take.

    I purchased 17 course from Udemy in February of 2022 and have not started a single course from them. I recently had to apply for full term disability and was recently approved for it. I have now found out that I will have to do something from home if I am to continue working while on disability to help with the income equation. I thought that Udemy would be supportive when I messaged out to them to ask if they could refund the charges for those courses I have not taken or to give me a balance I could use on courses that can help me in my situation. The thing is that they messaged me back literally minutes after I messaged them which lets me know that they did not give my case any individual consideration given the circumstances or at least check with a supervisor to see if there was anything that they could do above and beyond what the customer service can do. I at least would have hoped that they would have provided some service other than just flat our saying that there was nothing they could do for me. Not having money hurts when you are on social security disability and you have to make every ***** count. I am requesting that they reconsider providing a balance or credits or a refund given the circumstances of this case and how they are not revolved around buyers remorse or any reason that would be a bad reason for requesting a refund this late past the date of purchase. I think the first mission of any business should be to support their customers no matter where they are out in their journey which can unfortunately include unique circumstances such has this one. That means dealing with the really hard ones or helping more than you might if it was just a normal run of the mill refund request or something. Therefore, I decided to make this BBB complaint because of the fast response and no real consideration and no option for forwarding to a manager or supervisor for a second review. I am doing this on behalf of the judge that approved my case also.
