Everything done via teams... fine. Seemed fishy as when told was accepted for data entry no employee paperwork was a priority. Told that all equipment would be provided... perfect. Well then all the real red ****s started popping up... $126 (Venmo *************************) for toggle timer to log working hours.... okay. Then was told need to send a $200 apple card (screen shot to *******************************) to install software on computer...hmmm, okay. All will be reimbursed first paycheck, okay. Then, now need to pay tax/shipping... send $252 (venmo *******************************). Then, Told oops made a mistake.... need more money for tax/shipping cuz of the distance. Now I'm done.... say enough. I wanted my money back. This is not for me. Never have i had to pay an employer to work for them to get started... was begged by ********* to please please just one more time. Said she would lose her job if i didn't follow thru... hmm another res **** as to why i shouldn't work there. I proceeded to request money back from both Terra and *******. Told ********* to let them know however she communicates with them that i want it back asap. Also said i want to know how they (Quantcast) plans to get me the $200 that was sent for apple card that they redeemed. Said they can email me an apple card back to email that i previously gave them. Zero response.... then was told that refunding me money is different and takes more time than a reimbursement. I said i want answers as to when and how or i will be reporting to the BBB. I am now filing a complaint as nothing has been said.... was so eager and persistent to get money but now birds chirping. Need to be UP FRONT with new hires when providing job duties etc. if this is a legit job. Not everyone has $500+ to give out to get started working for an employer.
