Less than 1 star. Looked up one name, it switched to another (ok, alias), but i KNEW the person was a registered *** offender but TRUTHFINDER didn't find that. Waste of money which i will report as fraud and hopefully get it back because that was fraud by them. I already knew more about the person than what they reported to me.Review fromJames P

This company is a complete scam and should be investigated.When you search a name, youre immediately forced to click Yes repeatedly just to confirm you want to see basic information. Its a bait-and-switch designed to funnel you into a paywall under the false impression youre about to access real data. Its manipulative by design.Whats worse is they justify it by saying, Its in the Terms of ********** I guess as long as you bury the fact that youre running a scam in the fine print, that makes it okay? As long as you declare yourself a scumbag in the Terms, youre covered? That logic is pathetic and exactly why this company has no business operating.Its shocking anyone still pays for this garbage. Even more shocking is that the BBB allows companies like this to buy an A rating. No wonder the BBB has lost all credibility.Unlike this scam operation, these reviews are real, recent, and honest. This company needs to be shut down.?

I entered info into their system, hoping to find a family member, but after going through the long process, I chose not to order the report.However! They have my email and continue to ******* me with "Invites" to order a report. I did not enroll or subscribe. I went to their website to try to end their emails. But before I can get to their platform they have a full screen disclaimer "NOTICE" that I must sign. Given their invasive practices, I closed out of the page. Not sure how to proceed. But I do NOT recommend anyone engage with them.Truthfinder

Seriously, please listen to all these one-star reviews they're spot on. This isn't just about the money; the real issue is that their information is just plain wrong. They use all this clickbait and twist things to make you keep clicking through pages, suggesting crazy stuff. Like, are these people secretly criminals? Do they have hidden adult social media? Are they escorts? Are they on some government watchlist? How on earth would this random website even have access to government secrets? Especially when they couldn't even get my phone number right they had my number I've had for over 20 years listed under two other people. They can hide behind all the fine print they want, but at the end of the day, no matter how much you pay them, they can't even get basic, accurate info right.Truthfinder

SCAM!!!! I didn't expect to get a "free" search, so I paid for the 2 month unlimited plan and every time I try to access the ONE AND ONLY search results I requested, it keeps sending me around and around some stupid verification loop. It did give me an option to pay $3.99 for "something" I'm not even sure what they meant but it certainly wasn't what I agreed to. SCAM!!!!!Truthfinder

Scam company stay away. I signed up years and years ago and canceled my subscription back in march of 2023. I have an email verifying the subscription was canceled and yet even though I canceled it theyve still been charging me. Do not do business with as Im sure theyre probably stealing and selling your information to other business seeing as how shady they clearly act.Truthfinder

www.truthfinder.com is a people finding search program. It can take 30 minutes to go through all the search. It asks you for your email address to continue. When it finishes compiling all the information is asks for your to sign up and pay. The deception here is they don't say anything about the need to sign up until the last webpage. Now they have your email address. This practice is probably illegal and most definitely immoral. Please do not do business with these suspected scammers.Truthfinder
