This company continues to bill me for services I do not want. I have called them repeatedly, e mailed them and even complained to the State AGs office.

Dear ****, When a user activates their account, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their card as described, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our billing terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.The charges associated with the payment method in question have been disputed, resulting in a chargeback. When a chargeback occurs, it indicates that the account is in dispute with the financial institution, and the individual should contact the institution directly for any refund requests. The membership was promptly canceled and deactivated, with no additional charges to be incurred. Furthermore, due to the dispute, access to this account will no longer be attainable. It's advertised as a free phone lookup but after they run "billions of records" (while you wait) it then directs you to enter your card number to open up the name of the number you want looked up. BEWARE SCAM ....They only showed two traffic violations. I know that the person I was searching had more than four violations, two times in jail and plenty of warrants. None of this was on the report. I paid over $25 plus a $3.99 document load. What a useless company.Intelius.com
