We used them for our 50th reunion in 2021 and they were very good. We paid a$1000 fee to create our data base and was told at that time that it would be ours forever. No additional fees were ever discussed for maintaining the data base for future years. They are blaming this on the pandemic of 2020 which doesn't make sense as our reunion was held in 2021. They are trying to pass on their losses from reunions not being held to their clients that did hire them and hold their reunions. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Yes, the pandemic did impact our business financially as it did many companies. Fortunately, most of our ***** customers understood that, and they actually helped our business get through the post-pandemic rebuild process. It costs money to host an entire class database each year, and asking for a $99 hosting fee to be paid only once every 5 years (which amounts to only $20/year), is not an egregious price increase post pandemic. This specific class could have also approached us professionally if they needed some grace ****** or even some special terms, and chose not to. We have learned that we cant please 100% of our clients 100% of the time, but after 13 years in business, and to have only 5 of ***** customers be upset because of a pandemic that was out of our control, we are very happy and proud of our reputation, and our BBB A+ rating.

We used ReunionDB for our 50th in 2021. I found them extremely helpful and responsive to questions. The recent new "hosting fee" was a surprise but you don't have to pay every year, only the years you want them to send out emails or help plan the next reunion. I still recommend them for reunions as they easily increased the attendance and made our announcements etc. more professional than we could have. Thanks *** for all your help & good work.

Reunion DB told us that we owned our database for use in future reunions and that there would be no additional fees once we paid the initial $1000 fee. During the reunion a few years ago they did tack on some fees for ticket sales that they had not disclosed during the selling process. Now, they tell us that due to the pandemic and associated costs to them, they have to charge us $99 to not delete our account. They told us that we had been notified in March which we were not and they had sent an e-mail in July. This is a shakedown and double dealing at its worst. Shame on you Reunion DB!

We used this company for our 40th class reunion in 2019. We were told many times from the beginning that we "owned our database". We had a few glitches with their budgeting tool (it doesn't work correctly!) A few times since 2019 I have logged in to our database to make changes on classmates information, without any issues. Recently (in 2023) I TRIED to log in to update some info and was unable to, Contacted the company and was told by the head nut that in order to get access, we need to pay a yearly $99 "hosting fee" and go thru a training session since there have been some updates made. I replied that I was never notified of this new fee and it was never disclosed when we signed up in 2018. He claims that there was am email sent out in March 2023 that explained this but it wsas never sent to me or the class email account, I have requested to either give me access to the database so I can print out our information or he can email me that information, NO RESPONSE back. My recommnedation is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they will hold your information hostage for future payments VERY UNETHICAL!!

To Whom It May ******* at the BBB,
The person who wrote this review is NOT our customer.  Our customers are the ENTIRE reunion planning committee for each class.  The rest of the committee for this class has ALREADY PAID the $99 Hosting Fee and this person is complaining because she does not have access to the class database anymore. No one individual controls the class database and this person is the only person on the committee who does not have access to the database. This can happen for ONE or ALL of the following reasons:  1. The rest of the reunion planning committee does not want this person to have access to the database which is has no bearing on ** and does not warrent a negative review.  2. This person has violated our policies and procedures related to data security in the *******************.  3. This person has violated our policies and procedures related to professional dialogue with our customer support staff. In any or all of these 3 situations, this negative review has no merit, is baseless and the proposed resolution from this individual was already taken care when another committee member paid for continued access to the database.

This company was responsible for organizing our 50th reunion. They also organize a memory book. However, they are clueless about photo releases and right to privacy - which I, an ****************** learned when contacting them by phone and email, when they threatened to totally delete me from the database rather than honor my request with simply including existing yearbook and older school photos, and the bio I submitted but no photos from the related reunion events in 2022 (which I could neither review or approve) Considering their claim to being the best their professional event planning knowledge is woefully lacking, and their customer service appalling. Too bad I could not give them a 0 score.

I put a down payment of $95 with Reunion DB for our 50th class reunion to be held in 2 years. I had problems with a classmate who was helping and decided that I couldn't work with her and contacted Reunion DB about getting my money refunded. I spoke with *********************, sales manager, about a refund and he tried to come up with alternate solutions to continue on. **** indicated the 30 day refund period had passed by 9 days and said they had already started creating the classmates database. I know that wasn't true because the classmate that was being difficult was responsible for submitting classmate contact information and our reunuion was 2 years away. When I repeated my wish to get a refund, he directed me to email his boss, ***. I sent *** an email explaining the problem and requesting a refund that same day. It has been a couple of weeks and neither *** or **** have contacted me about a refund. This company may put on good reunions, but they are terrible about providing customer service to resolve problems. I would not recommend using this company. I am going to contact my local consumer protection agency and file a complaint.

This individual received her refund 2 weeks after she requested it. When you read this review this person said "I had problems with a classmate who was helping and decided that I couldn't work with her". We were fortunately contacted by this other classmate and now know what the REAL source of the issue was.
