    My car was towed to ASAP smog after having the catalytic converter stolen in front of my house. **** had provided the towing and I spoke to the manager ******************* who asked me for $4500 or more to fix it. I told *** that the cost was too high and I would not be able to afford his cost. He then lowered his asking price and told me to bring him at least $1500 to order the parts. I never agreed to anything and *** decided to keep my car hostage when I informed him I would like to tow it to another garage. He refused to release my car claiming I owed him for storing the car. He then threatened to take me to small claims court if I did not pay him. He said he would keep my Car if I did not make it his office by 5pm that same day. When I arrived at the asap smog at 5pm my car was in front and I finally saw *** for the first time. I asked for my keys and found that *** and his employee had ransacked my car inside and had even removed the seats inside my car. Everything was a complete mess inside despite me never having authorized any work to be done. I never signed anything or gave any verbal authorization for *** to enter my car. *** was very belligerent with his attitude and tried to intimidate me over the phone and in person. Later when I got home I found several things missing from inside my car and car parts intentionally removed by *** and his worker who had tried to steal them from me!
