      ***** the owner charged me for a set of sparkplugs and wires,that I had replaced. I had a miss fire on #8 sparkplug. I did an engine compression check to see the condition of the engine and didn't tighten it down enough. ***** gave me a verbal estimate of $5,000 to get my vehicle to pass smog. There was a leak in the evap system because of *****'s ***** Repairs out of ******** put in a replacement fuel pump and the way he did messed up the fuel line also. He guarantees his work 100% unless you have a problem. He won't answer text messages or the phone. I dropped the gas tank myself and replaced the whole fuel pump assembly until. ***** also replaced the mass air sensor which did nothing to pass the smog test but I paid for it. I had told ******* that I needed an oxygen sensor that first day at the shop. On my last day ***** replaced the oxygen sensor and my vehicle passed smog. I'm not thrilled with ***** writing false statements to get paid by the ******************* $120/hr. and lie about what he did and to justify his billing of me and the *******************! I made a report to B.A.R. and they probably notified ***** and charged the name of the business to San Diego Smog. These DMV approved STAR stations are scaming customers and B.A.R. is useless for protecting customers from liars and thieves! While at the shop I saw a BBB sign but the BBB said that the shop is not a member.
