- It is our understanding that this business is not commissioned by the California Secretary of State or licensed with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) as required. California law requires businesses providing Notary Public services and Private Investigation services to be commissioned by the Secretary of State and licensed by BSIS, respectively. Black Ops Legal advertises on www.blackopslegal.com that it provides Notary and Private Investigation services.
We contacted the business on August 15, 2017 and August 22, 2017 requesting that they provide their licensing information, or plans for obtaining a license. As of today's date, we have not received a response to our request.
