    I bought a Night Owl system after hearing positive reviews from a couple co-workers. My system worked fine for a while, I was never very impressed with the quality of the video on my phone though. It was a little better on the monitor (****p cameras) but still not good enough to actually identify a someone, I doubt I'd even be able to read a license plate in close proximity. My real issues came in when I started using the app more. My co-worked is able to navigate through his saved recordings very easily. With the app I have (different from the one he is using) if something happens at 1:59 the only was for me to ******* is to start watching my cameras at 1:00. I have to then watch in real time for 59 minutes to see what I missed. It is better on the monitor, but I don't keep a monitor hooked up to it and primarily use my phone to access the cameras . Apparently my system is to new to use the app my co-worked uses. Despite the 1 star review in the app store, the app I use (the newer version) has only had 1 update since launched. **************** is very hit or miss. It took 4 calls to finally get someone that could tell me the app he uses will not work with my system. For the past 6-8 months I haven't been able to get my cameras to pull up at all on my app. The time shows right in the picture and is moving so it's not frozen. It's just showing a black screen though. I have so far been unsuccessful in remedying the issue. It's clear the don't actually care about your issues, or fixing them.
