About Our Arborist - David Kuttler
David Kuttler started working with trees in 1972 while studying forestry in the American River College. He started his business after studying for two years in the forestry program and working for a forester in Auburn. He earned a C-27 Landscape Contractors license and a D49 Tree Service license in 1976. He has been providing many tree services ever since. All the tree services he performs are backed by his experience and professionalism.

Our crew consists of highly trained individuals and most of them are trained by David himself. They are aware of the latest “tricks of the trade” through hands-on training and
annual training seminars. We keep up with all the new information in the industry, including the latest in tools and equipment.

Providing a Variety of Tree Services Safely
We provide many tree services such as tree pruning, tree removal, stump removal, stump grinding, and other tree care services. We are specialized in large tree removal services. All our services such as thinning, shaping, tree removal, view clearing, land clearing, fire safety clearance, and pest and disease diagnosis are done in a safe manner.
We’re happy to serve the communities of Penn Valley, Grass Valley, Nevada City, Colfax, Auburn, and Meadow Vista from Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We also accept after-hours emergency calls.
