    PLEASE, be an informed consumer and DO NOT do business with Design Windows and Doors in ************ J.R. is the owners son who presents genuine and sincere, but is a wolf in sheeps clothing. We Paid ****** for windows. After waiting 8 weeks, we were told the windows arrived, everything was a go and given a date for installation. That date came and went. We called they said it was the secretary's fault. When they finally came out to install the windows, we noticed the guys had stopped working. They said the windows were too big. This caused the workers to have to remove the wood framing around the window to make them fit. when it was time to replace the framing, J.R. tried to add another $1900 to our bill. We asked why were we responsible for their error? After much back and forth, they agreed to take care of it. My wife believes the larger windows were ordered in an attempt to utilize the additional funds we were approved for. Anyway, we were given another date for them to come back to install the wood framing, that date came and went. When they returned to add the wood framing, the guys were told to complete certain portions of the framing. They were literally only going to replace half of what they took down. After more back and forth, they tried to fix it. Upon installing the patio door, they somehow caused our electric to go out on one side of the house. They came back and had to open the wall to fix that the next day. The repair looks amateurish. They still haven't returned to repair the wall correctly and still needs to install the hardware on the patio door. J.R. has yet to return our calls Ugh... I told them it appears they really didn't want to resume work when they had to cover the cost for the wood framing. There was no more money to be made. Even their employees were complaining. I just want them to come back and finish what we paid for and do it professionally. The work started in October 2023. We're in December 2023 and still waiting. Come on man
