    This is a debt collector, and scam artists. Any legal debt collector must read you the ***** (Federal Debt Collection Practices Act) disclaimer showing they are a debt collector up front. They also cannot threaten to *** you or seize any assets if they don't intend to do so, which I guaranteee they won't. That would open them up to being ***d themselves.A piddly debt of this size isn't worth their time, cost and trouble. Last, in most states, there is a statute of limitations on how long the "original" company that held the debt can ***. Here in *******, that is 48 months.Should they call you, simply share these facts with them. Ask them for their address, and send them a letter demanding they prove they are the owner of the debt. Make sure to send it registered mail, with return receipt requested.Then file a complaint with ***************************************** like this pray on people's ignorance.

    This company is very aggressive and uses all tactics necessary to try to get you to pay. Most of which I have researched are illegal. I am currently out money already due to being told that they would take me to court if I didn't pay the money I supposedly owe. So being scared that I would be taken to court and other fees would be tacked on I signed an agreement. I have done research and have found that the credit card company has no information on the account that was supposedly sold to them. I'm just so worried that I am yet another victim to one of their scams.
